Stuff the innards with bubble wrap I've shipped like 4 tube amps like this and all have arrived safely. Also wrap the outside in bubble wrap and put it all in a box full of bubble wrap or shopping bags

Yeah LS-2 and 2 volume pedals is the way to do this. It's very effective, i use to have this facility on my big board. You could potentially do something with a delay pedal and it trailing off once bypassed maybe

yeah its a revelation, no matter how good you thought it would be or how good your previous gear, the Matamp in the band always sounds better I'd avoid the 2x10 since it woiuldn't split the power equally between the cabs, probably cheaper to get another 6x10 anyway I did always toy with the idea of sticking a 6x10 ontop of my 4x10 but it seemed excessive so I'm going to get the 1x18 instead . I should really get a flightcase for mine, how much was yours (if you don't mind me asking)? I keep mine in an plastic army box (one of the ones they drop from planes) and the hinges have made 2 nice holes in the tolex on the side, down to the wood, bit of a pain but hey we buy them to use and abuse them. I should really get the cover for my 2x12 as well.

Hey Wooks79 have you tried it in a band situation yet? We'll have to get our amps together in a few months for a Christmas card picture

Matamp will make custom headcase for rack equipment and they have white tolex, might be a bit pricey (around £100-£150) but it's a real pro job

Yeah no cross, but doesn't really matter as the new plastic front panel will cover it all up. I'll mention to Andrew about the input sensitivity and see if there is anything he can do, might even be able to beef up the slave out on my GT200

As far as I know and I've had the thing apart in front of me it's identical to yours (I'll ask for the serial number next time I speak to Andrew). The box is black though. I have seen one other while googling it some guy picked up a Slave 300 a few weeks ago in black think he was in the US though other than that ours are the only ones I've seen. So all the changes I'm having done will be completely reversible hence the new box as it has the original name plate on the box that they can't replicate and can't promise they can remove without damage. So both amps will come with their original boxes and their new red ones
