So with a long history of measuring thrice and cutting 27 times, I’m imploring you kind fellows for some advice. I have a Mexican made fender pawn shop mustang, I would like to put some lollipop tuners on it…. You know, because they sound better. I assume only hipshot are making these and all mustangs sport the same tuners and everything available is a drop in replacement? I don't really rate the effects, I dialled in a nice amp sound and it's how I practice. I can screenshot the amp settings shortly if you'd like?

Helped me decide that none of them were for me and that's a fair old wack to save. I'll be using it to try the Chase Bliss Mood out which is one of the things on my GAS list.

Switch it over to the Aguilar Amp sim and turn off all the effects and you'll have a great time learning songs. I love my Mighty Plug, so handy when travelling.

Gruvgear Edge should fit, I have my 4 inline mustang in that, which I then slide into an SKB Bass Safe

Does it have any bass amp? Or just effects?

I see on the site it says it has bass effects and amps but I can't see them in the manual. Anyone got a solid list of the bass stuff?

JMJ uses his Mexi Fender Sig's all the time.

It has dimarzio pickups in it. Currently it looks to have been modded to dual stacked knobs like the flea bass (vol/tone vol/tone) But she sounds incredible, one of my favourite bass tones.

Since asking I’ve realised it doesn’t really matter as I can just use either Mighty Plug as an interface with my iPad and use all the fun fx I have loaded there. But I am still interested to know if it would be possible.

Was wondering due to having limited experience with IRs but can you get any with effects on them to make up for the lack of an effect on a particular pedal. Specifically I was looking at https://www.nuxefx.com/mightyplugpro.html which looks like a great upgrade to my mp2 but it still doesn’t have an octaver, just 5 different choruses 🙄 but you can load in IRs so I was wondering if you can get IRs that are recreating speaker cabs but with an effect on them?

I paid £850 for mine from a PMT when on tour recently. First one @AndyTravissold me brand new in Dawsons when they were released for what must have been less than £500 and I remember struggling to shift it on here for like £400. But glad to have one again and white is nicer than the red I had. Video I’ve got old rounds on it, going into a Groove Tubes Ditto DI. Now it’s got flats on it but when I plug it in I need to take at least 9db off as it’s the hottest bass I own by a long way. Currently I’m travelling a lot and it’s my only bass with me, inside a Gruv Gear Edge that goes in an SKB Bass Safe. I’ve got a radial stagebug, my iems, NUX MP-2 and a behringer p2 in the bag and I didn’t know it was possible to play bass with so little 😅
