1. Use a jamman before, it's nice but these bigger twin pedals like the Boss RC-20xl are just record, playback, loop and then you can store it. Where most of the fun is in the organicness of flipping the loop, reversing just a layer, taking things out, adding them back in. Depends what you want, if you pay postage I'll lend you my smm/h for a bit, it's for sale anyway so I'm not using it.
2. So what's a GT120 or GT1 like on bass? I do like my EL34 100w amps I've got a very naughty thought playing in my mind Going to call Jeff again to discuss
3. The fast cash make me an offer bump
4. Bought this recently and it's great but up and coming purchases at Matamp mean it might have to find a new home. It's just been fully services and bias'ed etc, including having the fixed power cord replaced with an IEC lead. It will come with a brand new set of JJ Tesla's that I will buy, the amp has been setup for these but is currently running in a matched pair at 50w (I have a lot of amps didn't need this rocking 100w to sit at home), If you do not want the JJ's or have your own tubes then knock £50 off the saler price. Thread about me getting it here http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=90577 It's a really clean loud head that can break up great and the REAL spring reverb adds some great depth to the sound. Outputs are 16,8 and 4 ohms so will work with what ever you throw at it. The cabs pictured are not included in the sale but if you are really interested in them make me an offer (I'd like to keep one for practice) but these are loaded with Fane 60w 1x12 drivers. So there you go I'm after [s]£300[/s] £250 for this, [s]£250[/s] £200 if you don't want it with JJ's in and just running 50w and will entertain offers on the cabs if some one is really interested. Cheers
5. Just called Jeff for a chat my GT200 isn't too far off, really can't express how excited I am guys, he also said when the little spirit combo's are all gone he'll be reordering lots of the tolex he's run out of now, so when that red tolex comes back in I'll have a headcase for my Strategy 400 and Alembic preamp made and another 2x12 because those cabs are the bomb.
6. Mine pls mate, send me details of where you want the cash
7. My band is looking for a place to finish our second album, so recording, mixing and mastering can you pm some info about rates and such. Cheers
8.
Just collected these this afternoon, Jeff swapped the 2x12 I bought off Steve as I prefer the Lloyd loom as opposed to black speaker cloth. Can't wait to gig em!!
Beautiful, those 2x12's are killer aren't they Oh and the GT200's aren't bad either, I'm so excited for mine.
9.
The M9's looper works with MIDI controls too I think.
+1 and I'd argue would replace the G Major M13 of course The RC-50's midi implementation is not great I'm told. The daddy really is the Looperlative If you can find one the EHX 2880 is fairly well regarded.
10. Unless it's working it's not really worth much money, well to the lay person No ones going to touch that until they know the transformers and speakers won't need replacing or haven't been replaced in the past. I'm not sure of techs in Bath but I know a fantastic one in the Manchester area if you are ever up this way.
11. When I suggested we go look at rings together she was not impressed when I meant Argos
12.
Why don't you just give her the bass instead of a ring? Then she'd know you was serious!
Oddly she said "I don't think it's fair how women get the diamond ring and men get nothing", GT200 please
13.
I recently picked this up. I'm a very happy man Jay.
That is very nice congrats.
14. Got this in a trade for my M9, not used it since, missing my M9 etc etc so it's up for sale. It's a great pedal and looper and you can get all sorts of delays and trippy things happening with it, it use to be the best looper on the market until the M9 came out and it's still the best under £200 looper you can get, it'll tap tempo and pitch shift loops, all sorts of great sounds. After £90 for it, it comes with a boss power supply and the box. Cheers
15. FYI guys these hold an Avalon U5 perfectly I just bought a 4U as I couldn't get a 3U.
16. Apparently if a woman can put up with me for 6 years this is the prize she wins or looses depending on your perspective. I'm still looking for the strap button for you, but we decorate and then she tidied so I have no idea where anything is.
17. Currently strung with flats but I'll include a set of Overwater rounds with the sale. Again this isn't getting used I'd like to get another Original shape Overwater and my girl needs a ring on her finger so this can go off to the chopping block
18. Back up for sale, I'm just not playing this at all and I need to raise some cash for a *cough* ring *cough* but luckily she doesn't check this site
19. How much is the software that goes with it?
20. Pics are in here http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=81243 I'll pm you about the cash.
21. I have an Overwater Evolution (35inch scale 5 string, like new) and some money (Slightly old, bit tatty obviously been used by a market trader at some point) I could throw at this if you're interested? Cheers
22. Picked this up the other week from Leeman and it's just redundant, I take a U5 with me to every gig and I have a preamp/overdrive pedal on my board that this will just sit forever in my gigbag. Like new, with box, instructions and 2 duracell procell batteries going cheap at £100 Pic if you want them, but as stated like new. Cheers
23.
Well here's the rub on the whole deal: I was trying to trade my AMP BH-420 for a Trace Elliot Series-6 AH350. Deal ended up not going down... Meanwhile I had flirted with the 610, but the kid who has it wants my AMP BH-20 in trade. Now, I have 2 other heads, both Trace. One is the venerable 250SMX, the other is the slightly less venerable GP-11 MK IV, also an AH250. The MK IV is in need of servicing, but it works (UV light makes it noisy). I already have the Peavey, but have thought seriously about the Ampeg 610 since it came into the crosshairs. That's it. I'm not sure it's worth giving up the BH-420 for, when I hae a nice cab that just needs to be loaded with better speakers (Scorpions in there now, not going to work for me). I'd still like to find a Series-6 head to swap with an AMP enthusiast. But that's another thread... anyway that's the whole story now.
Surely the AMP is the better head with basically being a Thunderfunk
