2. Let me know if you want a P-Bass flightcase might be getting rid of mine previous Loz's depending what I get quote on my custom flightcase build. Are you sure you have enough Fenders? Lovely bass
3. Ooooo interesting, 8ohm 2x15's are hard to come by. Will get back to you after Sunday when my Ebay auctions complete. Cheers
4. Probably best to leave it as I don't have any free cash till my ebay auctions finish on Sunday.
5. Shouldn't be looking but what impedance is it?
6. Any discount for doing a deal outside of ebay (assuming my own ebaying goes well this weekend)
7. If you flick me the length measurement then I'll just send you the £45 and you can send it the slowest ass royal mail service and like I said just put it in a bin bag it's a case after all its only gonna get knocked about anyway.
8. No worries, like I say if you don't want to ship it I'll just buy new ones. Cheers
9.
Finally doing this, as am finally well and truly happy with my Gear! Markbass SD1200 4x10 x 2 Moog Little Phatty Shuker Jazz Shuker Bolt on Kopo Lina Pedals..
Love the moog
10. I'm interested in these Skytec Dual lens LED light thingy - I'll take a picture, shines green and blue dots all over the place - it's meant to do red as well but it stopped for some reason and I haven't bothered looking why but it's probabaly a loose wire I reckon- £25 Smoke machine with liquid and cable remote etc - £15
11. Yeah I let mine go for £650 in a trade value
12. Stick it in a bin bag, it will be fine, I just sent a Incase Dub the same way. But keep me up to date, I could do with the knowing the length of the case as if it's got a decent amount of protection then I wouldn't mind ordering 2 new. Cheers
13. If you'll post it I'll give it a go, certainly a cheaper option to the Harvests that fit my Overwaters. Cheers
14. I always figured if it had tubes in it I would own it eventually
15. How would you compare it to a Walkabout?
16. This doom rig is lacking some 15's in my opinion, about 8 of them
17. Weren't they custom made Ampeg 1x18's
18.
Why does it have to be 4 ohm? You are going to be sacrificing a fair bit for that, and since I am fairly sure you are all valve amp, there isn't a power loss issue. If it is for chaining multiple cabs, are you stuck with the old 'no 16 ohm tap' issue? Maybe a series/paralell switch to match it would be the way, since you have pretty limited options for 4ohm drivers.
Ideally I want to run it with my 8ohm 4x10 (ontop) meaning a 4 ohm load or a 16ohm load meaning it works with all my amps. This ohmage also means I can mix and match my cabs a fair bit between all the amps. Might just forget the idea and get another 2x12 made.
19.
I met a company at Bassday 2009 that make custom 3 bass cases that you just wheel in and take the front off and viola it's a stand as well, can only imagine that thing will be insane with my Overwater's in it but wouldn't mind speaking to them about one. Anyone know who I mean? Also I'm selling my Incase dubag I could do ideally with a Harvest Double.
Found it, http://www.scottdixoninc.com/music/cases.html Trying to get a custom case built for my Overwaters
20. Might just open this up then what 4ohm 15 is a good buy for a 2x15 that you want to be super big in the low end, not fussed about the highs (they can be there is they need to be but I certainly don't want it sparkly) I want to maintain an aggressive tone to it. I don't want to use the term punchy but I do want it to hit you so tight and responsive might be a better description. Basically 4ohm Driver Low freq response High Sensitivity At least 300w power handling Ideally Neo but a good sounding neo
21. I'm going to get an 8ohm 2x15 made by Matamp but the pickings are a bit slim on the 4ohm 15 front, so just after a few opinions before I take the plunge. Cheers
22. Fane have come back and said they can manufacture certain models in 4 or 16 ohms can you see if your cab has any serial number or code on the back of it, I suspect it won't mine is meant to but doesn't. I hope I don't have to call Jeff again I think I'm starting to bug him , next call will have to be with my card to pay for the GT200 that will cheer him up.
23. Yeah that means 2 8ohm drivers or being fane 7.5 I think it would have to be special order I bet I can get some peavey black widows that are 4 ohms but not sure it would make for a nice cab
24. Just spoke to Jeff about doing a new type of 2x15 that would be sized to sit under the 4x10, unfortunately he can't get 16 or 4ohm 1x15's only 8ohm so a 2x15 would always have to be 4ohms which isn't going to work, so I've contacted Fane to see if they can make one, please speak up if you know of a really decent 1x15 16 or 4 ohm speaker. Cheers
