I am easy too - I spend a long time getting to know what the pedals do, then I tweak and leave - best way. You are not overthinking just exploring

Of course - we all know there is massive joy in stacking pedals etc. I stack my DP3X plus or minus a lehle Sonic Spark into the dUg Ultrabass amp to get what I need. On their own I can dial in a sound I like too, but with fiddling I can get something different with different stacks which is more ‘me’ without sounding pretentious if you get my drift

Utterly true, but....... it has a Kings X setting for example, and if that is how you dial in your DP3X and don’t change it, then that may be enough

In short yes and no. PSA is the nuts and if you are guitar and bass it’s a no brainer, however depending on what you primarily use your FR and DP3X for and settings on them, yes you may be able to nail the sound you dial in and use in the regular, there is some crossover, but each of the individual units will be more flexible

I see the stats on its processing power and how it’s more powerful than most things out there, but one thing it didn’t say is how it stacks up against the Fractal Axe FX III. That has a 2Ghz chip as well and I think 4Gb RAM, but I can’t find anything to side by side them. Also I can’t find the actual head to head specs on the FM3, but I am aware that has the guts of the AxeFXIII to all intensive purposes and 4x12 blocks so 48 scenes. @Kev you have any knowledge on this for a shoot out?

Question I’d like to know or find out. It can have 2 to 4 rigs. Can each instrument have their own footswitch/midi switch so they can do their own thing away from the central unit. I can see how this works on big gigs with all gear off stage and nothing on stage everything timelined and midi switched, but if a band wants to share and have their own switches is that possible?
