I'd like to see the end of the irriitating and minor epidemic of ' feeler ' sales. Surely, its for sale or it isn't. If it is, say its ' For Sale ' If it isn't , dont list it What is a feeler anyway ? Is it a way of saying ' i'm only selling if i get the right price ' In which case, its moot. Since the price anyone wants is listed with the item in question, and they'll either get that price or they won't

I had the Deep Impact many many moons ago - personally i found it to be a pile of poo, and sold it. Its no more worth £600/700 than a 60's Fender J bass is worth £XXXXXX Its just the fever kids start when some face starts using a pedal, and they all drive the price up to disproportionate levels, way above sensible. The price, now, is what fascinates the unwary + the lack of them for sale, thinking this must be the dogs nuts. It isnt The only reason i'd buy one now was if i saw one for sale for peanuts and would simply sell it on to a mug with too much money, so i could buy something useful

Well it turned out to be a minter , with quite a nice tone. Could be that the pups were changed, but there's no telling. Sounds fine anyways - its shop condition, not a blemish. I guess anyone could say they've upgraded their pups for Nordys. The only vague ID could be the black & white pup wires, but then the original pups could have had the same for all i know. Does anyone know how to visually ID a set of Nordstrands ( a P & J ) I've found a Retrovibe Aero 1 ( or is it 2 ) bass which the owner says was ugraded with a P & J set of Nordy's but since he didnt do this himself, he doesnt know which they are. He has no problem with me going to see the bass, no obligation AFAIK, there's the standard NJ/NP4 set , the SV4 set and the SE4 set ... is that correct ? But do they look just like any other J & P pups ? I mean, how can you tell that someone has really fitted a set of these Nordys ?

This is about as bad as it gets. You can see our singer in the check shirt is about 2ft from the wall opposite the band. Further along the wall is the bar. Go figure. What kind of brain decided to book a band and stick us in that position ? Somewhere, there's a village missing an idiot The mind boggles On top of that, we had a heckler for most of the night, who even had the gall to go up to our rhythm guitarist - while he was mid song ! - and whisper in his ear that he was sh*t. He was also shouting from the bar where he was drinking with his mates, who looked somewhat embarrassed, and weren't joining in. Our drummer - take a look at him - went over to him during the break and spoke to him in his ear.
