1. I suggest a NUX mod core - excellent pedal. Mine ( eventually 20 days later ) arrived from wherever they are ( China ? ) £22 free postage. Its also a phaser, chorus, trem, pan, rotary, U-vibe, vibrato. Ok, i dont use all those, ( Just flange and phase ) but when you consider just a flanger will cost maybe £25 ( 2nd hand ) and upwards, makes sense to get this and have the extra even if you dont use 'em Very versatile. Metal alround, not flimsy plastic, smooth knobs (ooer matron ) http://www.donnerdeal.com/nux-mod-core-guitar-effect-pedal-blue.html
2. Only just bought this and suddenly our band collapses - never had the chance to take it out and gig it. All original packaging, box, etc, as its less than a week old. Runs on Boss type 9v, or battery if you wish £48 + £4 PP signed for
3. I've found someone through a friend - taking it to him on Monday, but basically, no sound from right channel analogue out. I also have a second one that does not power up. Most people say its Behringer - chuck it in the bin and start again Probably wise words
4. Oh dear Please note: I am no longer taking modern amps - after 1980 - even valve ones. They are just not designed to be maintained and so the time taken to diagnose and repair makes it uneconomic. 5. Cheers ! Slightly dubious about the £30 non returnable fee, though i guess he has to do this
6. Does anyone know of any ex spurts that fix lectronix in the Oxfordshire area ? Need a troubleshooter for a Behringer Bass V-Amp pro , the 2u rack jobbie. Affiliates seems to be wall to wall luthiers and very little in the way of leccy gurus, at least in my neck of the woods Posting the preamp makes the cost of fixing prohibitive, so local is what i'm after
7. AS far as i rememeber, gift used to mean NO charges either way, which is why its a great option for selling stuff here, but it seems to be missing in my PP account Oh well ...
8. Justa thought wud .. is the Ebay ' gift ' payment still an option ? I could no longer see that in my PP. When i sent some money to a pal recently, they either wanted to charge me or him, those were the options. I wonder if it was because my PP account was empty, and they had to take it straight from my debit card, which is listed in my PP account. I dont see the problem though I would double check the gift thing mate, just in case

Nux Pedals

BC thread .. Although it started with Mooer pedals, Marcmart/Donnerdeal are in the thread http://basschat.co.uk/topic/189959-tiny-mooer-effects-discount-code/page__hl__mooer%20sweeper

Nux Pedals

http://www.donnerdeal.com/ Marcmart also trading as Donnerdeal sell them ( there are other threads on BC about Marcmart ) I think one or two members never received their pedals. I ordered a Mod Core on 29th Dec and nothing. After 12 days, I registered on the Donnerdeal/Marcmart webby ( reg uses your email ) and clicked ' My Order ' and it said i hadnt made any orders, though my Paypal account tells me otherwise. Imminent chargeback , but i'm wating for one more week, as Paypal gives you 45 days in all to do a refund

Hofner 185

This kinda floats my kayak - £250 from Reddog http://www.reddogmusic.co.uk/catalog/product/456031/hofner-hct185sb?gclid=CKz1qKW377sCFWcUwwodX1EAdA
12. You have a reply bud. Bass now on hold for namefail
13. I've had both Columbus JB and Satellite Precision, way back when According to my searches back at the time, both Matsumoku and Tombo were listed as producing Columbus basses. I would hazard a guess and say the Matty models were solid, and the Tombo were the cheap nasty affairs, as seems there's differing opinoins here on the wood used. Thought my Columbus was pretty ok, and played fine As for Satellite - oh dear. Known for warping necks, and although my Precision copy looked good ( neck through ) , it had the warped neck. Made by Kawai Teisco who built all manor of shoddy stuff. There's some right chancers on Ebay trying to palm off Satellites for over £300. I wouldnt give £25 for one unless i was there inspecting it with a microscope. Best avoided
14. This was bought purely for 2 tracks in E flat tuning, ( why buy an expensive bass for 2 tracks ? ) and we've dropped all E flat tracks, so its not earning its keep and is now surplus, so off it goes Its in pretty good condish, neck fine, freboard fine, truss rod fine, intonation fine, doesnt buzz unless you're hamfisted , which goes for any bass I spose. Some white sticker left on machine head ( shown in pics ) Soapbar hummer, and the tone is fab, surprisingly. Just a vol and tone and away ye go £45 - too cheap to haggle, and no trades thanks. Can post, and will be packed in a gig bag first , so you get that for nowt, and also have a proper guitar shop box, nice and sturdy. £12 to post or collect from OX28 West Oxon. Cash or Bank Transfer PS photos look slightly nasty on here, mainly the red colour, buts its fine in the flesh, and not patchy PS Truss rod cover is now fitted back on.
15. Yeah i could have easily gone for black, I agree they look good too. I just favoured the pearl a bit more though. The scratch plate is the original flat black style underneath but with a genuine wood veneer glued on top, sanded, and slightly dyed to try and get it closer in colour to the body, then gloss varnished. I didnt get it perfect as you can see
16. I went for subtle
17. I paid on the 18th, and they arrived today. Thats some good going from Japan - what a trooper. Now for my victim..
18. You could always take the MECs to the shop where the bass is, and place them over the Squier originals and see if they're the same size. That will at least save you the probelm of buying the bass only to find the pups dont match size wise. Wont help you with the tone, but you would have eliminated one of the two potential problems
19. Mine on order now - i needn't of worried about the xmas parcel bun fight it seems, but didnt want to take a chance. I can wait Here's the victim
20. A small dab/spot of clear silicone sealant. Its rubbery when dry, and will prevent any damage to the wood beneath should you ever need to remove the nut
21. I'm waiting till after the christmas parcel rush just in case they got lost, but i;m ordering some myself. I messaged him about the inlays and you get 11 pieces in all
