  1. Fleabag noodling with a gitwrist and Adrenalinn 2 https://www.soundclick.com/html5/v3/player.cfm?type=single&songid=12701905&q=hi&newref=1
  2. Very good. Now go to the back of the class
  3. You can get old TE's to growl as well, you know. Just kick it in the nuts and watch that ' clean ' disappear
  4. Ok, just got back I edited one of my For Sale items, and no pop up captchas - i edited twice just to be sure, but nothing. Methinks your tweaks have the magic touch. Have a bourbon biccy on me
  5. Must admit, i do love the sound. Personal i suppose, some hate it. But since our band quit after 6 years, and now i;m just home recording with a gitwrist, it sits in my spare bedroom when i fancy a pluck ( matron )
  6. As of late Charic, i have only got captchas when i've edited a For Sale item. I'm going to edit another to see if they still pop up Watch this space
  7. About 63kg with that 1 x 15 i got off the Greek Jeeez, i just broke into a sweat describing it
  8. If this is any kind of gauge for you, the two switches on my combo, the shape and graphic, needed replacing. Apparently they do give up the ghost on TE amps I also wanted to keep the original TE green switch buttons , but transferring them to the new switches behind the buttons was a right faff, but the tech managed it in the end. He also did a service and PAT test. This all cost me about £100. He wasn't a friend - this is his business But the TE combo is singing nicely
  9. As far as google is concerned, around 43kg for the combo, and Mick knows how much that 1x15 wedge weighs About 20kg Mick ?? Funny - i dont live on the ground floor ( 2nd floor apartment ) but we do have a lift. Bonus !
  10. Weighty though Michael, very weighty
  11. Bush and Palmer were an item at one point in her career
  12. Curvy & Voluptuous were the prog band IIRC
  13. Yeah the price of strings is outrageous. I shot an email to Bob Gollihur in the US, and he confirmed that if fitting Spiros to an NS, i need the S42 set which is 4/4 But i've decided against that now, as i was advised to go with strings designed for the NS NXT, which are the NS Contemparies , made by D'addario, ironically enough. Again, expensive, till i found the last set on Amazon for £80 - and snapped 'em up Once fitted i'll be slinging the current thumpers in the FS forum Good link too
  14. Oh wow - that takes me back. I had one of these with the exact same bridge and bass was finished exactly the same too. Shame about the necks. Looked good though and neck through IIRC
  15. No companies that big do things to be kind. Its sales , sales, sales.
  16. Good speech I reckon that's one of those doughnut shaped one eyed silver miniature water spaniels. They look suspiciously like a Toroidal Transformer
  17. Hah ! Since the changeover, i'm the only TE user with a photo Read it and weep, TE-ers
  18. The other option is buy double sided sticky tape. You can use regular rubber feet then, if finding self stick rubbers are hard to come by
  19. I love organic shapes - all curvy and voluptuous
