  2. Grill batten tuff cabbed, and grill cut to size and resting on the baffle. Waiting for edge strips, grill needs spraying too Note beggar all space to work in. You can't see it but i'm standing in my bathroom to take photos.
  3. Ya can't smoke inside public buildings, so its either booze /or food. I occasionally have a babycham but rarely indulge in nosebag at gigs

  8. I've owned a New York 2x12 and two New York 1x12's and a pair of the strange New York 4x6 cabs. I actually preferred the 4x6's. The bottom end on those small cabs was marvellous
  9. I'm guessing wood
  10. yes, dummy
  11. It would be slower if i had a workshed or something. I'm fed up with the mess and clutter , tools, wadding , sawdust, tins of stuff cluttering up my flat hallway. So i'm going at a fair chat to get it done, without rushing. Tricky
  12. Last action for tonight - grill battens fitted and sealed, and now drying off
  13. Whoa !!
  14. Sorted and fitted. Despite the camera angle making it look like the wadding is touching the ports, it isn't. There's plenty of room around them Both handles now fitted, and at the mo, trying to sort the batten for the grill. Waiting on edge strips right now

  16. You'll be sorry when its finished
  17. I think it maybe the TX 210 , carpet covered , 175 watt RMS , 4 ohm If it looks like this photo, its the TX210
  18. Just to confirn whats been said about medium scale black nylons from Status. Yes they do fit 34" basses. Mick The Greeeeeeeeeeeek told me this when i was at his house, and so i ordered some. So mediums are ok
  19. Cheers - i'll get some sorted today
  20. You know how giant corporate money machines like to pinch every penny, and would sacrifice quality to make loads more cash... just wondering
  21. Ok - cheers Well as you've seen, the back panel is done, so.. both sides, top and bottom to do ?
  22. I used to own a 600 fretless. Set neck, and poor EQ. Just my personal experience. The tone was rather dull and non-descript
  23. I'm fond of decent heads, and would never own a headless, but they're amazing to look at.
  24. One person wanted them Our guitarist ( at the time ) bought an LP with that self tuning system. It's amazing to watch the pegs all move on their own. He hated and took them off I guess because they never worked properly
  25. I always ask if i don't know. There are so many clever people on here, that 9 out of 10, somebody knows better. Hence me tracking Richard down and getting a huge amount of help
