1. I think that you are wrong this time Horrid, the vocal sample was Roger Whittaker.
2. I thought it might be fretless. hmm, hoodie designer ?
3. Does anyone have any info on the bass/effect used in this track ?
4. Jazz Special Bass. The Jazz Special is sometimes called the Paul McCartney model because he was pictured playing one. It’s basically the 162 morphed into a double-cutaway with an abstractshaped pickguard. It has the same Thin Twin pickups. It appears that they are to be re-issued,made both in the far east and USA.
5. Looks like a vintage Kay bass to me.At about 2.37 you can clearly see the K logo,do'nt know which model though.
6.
The bridge, the stringing system, the pickups, the tuners, the woods, the inlays, the construction, the frets, the electrical components, the string tree, the body shape (loads of difference - really), the ageing process, the vibration treatment, the nut, the fact that it's handmade in a small workshop in Japan in very small numbers, pretty much everything, really.
But,apart from that,they are the same,right ?
7.
I like them as well. In some ways I hope it's a fictitious bass, otherwise my wallet may lighten a little.
No,its a Custom Shop Telecaster LOTTO Bass,approx $6K.
8. Still not been on here.
9.
Oh oh I'm having GAS issues. I like the Daisy model :brow:
Hands off,i just spent 2 hours looking for parts.
10. I would be up for it.
11.
Here you go HD!
AAAAAAARRRRRRGGGGGHHHHH.GAS ATTACK I do'nt suppose i could trouble you for a Jazz too ?

13. Good idea, but i hope to see mine for real in the next few weeks.
14. I would have it with the back cut-away only. How about binding on the front ?
15. He no doubt could,6'4",ex South African police & army. Must get Chevy Blazer for next pic
16. It's not brick,it's stone.....................honest.
17. I've had a couple of Encore P basses,and i liked them.........................sorry.
18. This.Italia Modulus Tipo 3.It plays well enough, but it sounded very weak, then one of the lipstick pickups died (it had 4) My wife bought me it for my first T.V appearance.I tried to get some assistance from Italia/JHS,and Trevor Wilkinson, but they all just passed me arround,so,i whacked in a cheap pickup and it sounds MUCH better.Just need to get a scratch plate made.
19. Because when they werent "vintage" they were crap, and nobody wanted them ? especially 70's Jazzes.
20. Crikey..................i bet Jimmy Page wishes he could play like that.
21. If there are no problems with string balance, leave it as it is.You can still adjust the overall pickup height if you need to.
22. You can adjust the pole piece screws, but you only need to if one of the strings sounds louder or weaker than the rest.
23.
No, everybody needs a Precision
As well as a Jazz.
24. That is cool,but everybody needs a Jazz.................do'nt they ?
