Yes, used it at a small acoustic jam ( 3 acoustic guitars & 4 vox) before the change of port arrangement and the guys were quite comfortable with it hidden away. I was really impressed with the extra sound reinforcement that enabled me to enjoy a much more relaxed experience. Rather than belting hell ( digging in) out of the strings to get heard and cut through I was able to play at normal house levels and benefit from the reinforcement the micro combo delivered. I have to say that the Lekato 5.2Ghz wireless system works very well indeed. Next week I am sure that I will be even more comfortable with the improvement in performance and removal of the chuffing.

UPDATE Over the weekend I finally got around to improving the port arrangement of the Micro combo. I had some great help and advice from @Phil Starr regarding the size of the Port. I changed the original port to 2 ports 38mm id x 100mm long but sadly I was experiencing some nasty "chuffing". On Phil's advice, over the weekend I replaced the two ports with one port 70mm id X 96mm long and the performance has improved considerably. My implementation of the cab & speaker is still not as good as the solution Phil adopted and this can be seen in the curves below. Phil's is the GREEN curve (85Hz), the two 38mm id x 100mm ports is the BLUE and the 70mm id x 96 mm is in RED (85Hz). The Fane does appear to perform very well in a small cab and maybe if I had spent more time in the research and calculation phase rather than jumping too quickly into the construction phase I may have achieved a better performance out of the Faital. Any how, I am pleased with the improvement in performance and happy that the chuffing has disappeared. Thanks again to @Phil Starr for his excellent support.

NOW that's what I call a SIGNATURE Bass. Congratulations on such an innovative idea for a fantastic bass.

Or both. Great simple combination for controlling your sound. I highly recommend getting a Thumpinator and a Spectracomp.

DiMarzio Split P , a very wide range of tones, huge power, and great performers. Tinkering with the tone cap can offer an even broader palette of sounds. -

1) Open Guitar Lab first on PC, connect USB then switch on the B6. Seems to work 100% for me. 2) Remove the clear film from the screen, my sweaty fingers didn't help, but after the protective film was removed all was well. Do not expect a Mobile phone type of response , the B6 is a bit slower. Have fun.

Me too, I prefer the Inlet Manifold version , the one with the Twin Strombergs, because you can adjust the flow rate with drops of oil into the Carbs top.🤣🤣🤣

IMHO with my 70 year old abused ears I think the patches sound richer fuller, more authentic and open, a real improvementin sound quality. I'm pleased with what I'm hearing through headphones and Fender Rumble thro BF SC. But each to their own and with great returns policy from the big retailers everyone can make up their own mind and not rely on an old Duffer like me.

I had Zoom guitar Lab and ToneLib open on the Desktop and just entered my preferred values onto the B6. I haven't worked out how to get the B6 & B1-4 to talk to each other, I'll wait for one of the clever Guys to come along with the method. Once ToneLib has included the B6 I am sure it's as simple as copying and pasting the files from the patches stored on the Desktop HD. The B6 + HB wireless fits neatly into the case I used for my "Big Board" with just the one cable a mains cord it's very convenient looks great. I still have my small board with the B1-4 and Tech 21 VT bass DI and I carry my standalone B1-4 ( rechargeable batteries)as a backup in my gig bag. Could say I'm pretty much ZOOOOOM'd out. Happy Days!!

Well even with all the luke warm comments on this thread I have to say I am really pleased with my B6. Each to his own I suppose!! Had a rehearsal yesterday with my covers band and the B6 performed really well, copied all my patches from my B1-Four and used some of the amp sims on modified patches. All good stuff.

Sounds like the purchase of an Alesis SR 16 would improve stage volume, reduce setup time and band members would enjoy an increase in the share of the fee. Drum tracks appear to have more sparkle, richness and crispness, akin to my Alesis SR16. Sounds just a bit more "real" somehow.

So my conclusions after a couple of days running through the tones and features. Yes it's expensive Yes it sounds much fuller, richer and clearer than the B1Four Yes it has a great DI , easily replacing my Tech 21 VT Bass. Yes the amp & Cab sims are fantastic , so authentic with an openness genuine richness. Yes Helix Stomp sounds are probably better but I don't believe I could hear the difference in a band environment. Yes it's easy to use and setup. Yes the system is very intuitive and logical. Yes the B1Four is probably the best value for money multi Fx on the market.. Yes I'm pleased with my purchase. Yes I'm glad I bought it as it fixes current and future Pedal Gas. Yes I'm fickle. Yes I'm easy to please.

ToneLib does not support the Zoom B6 at present.

@IanA purchased a Tech21 VT Bass Deluxe from me in a flawless, fast, respectful, kind, professional transaction. Ian is a gentleman to deal with and a first class Basschater.

Agreed, but the Invoice & sales description clearly states the PSU is included in the box. I really don't know what these Sales people are all about. They just seem so 'Dim' .

+1 Effects sale went rather well, only the TC Spectracomp to go so I ordered a B6 today from Thomann. Neither DV247 or Thomann Sales staff knew if the PSU had the interchangeable 3pin/ 2pin clip on adaptors. Thomann even told me that there was NO PSU in the carton box and I would need to purchase one. 🙄😖😞

No, can't say I have noticed, Fretwork was perfect on all the necks. Maybe because they were all bound edges so fret ends were fine and no raised frets. All the bitas have flats and had only light use and do not appear to show any wear whatsoever.
