A dear friend of mine (a well established pro,very respected and long standing Band Leader), Is involved with a French band coming over to play a gig at a Restaurant in East London. My friend will pay a proper, decent fee for the hire and will be there during the evening. You will need to transport the Bass to the Restaurant early evening (I think around 5/6:00pm) and pick up around 11:00pm. If interested, PM me and I will pass your number on to him. Like I said, he is a very decent geezer, so the Bass will be in safe hands at a respectable gig. Cheers Garry

I like complex arrangements and structures. Just something that has happened to me as I have got older. But then again my musical tastes are very, very broad from simple, to complete over the top Orchestral and Jazz offerings. For me, he has great, melodic, lyrical quality in his playing, not to mention his good timing and groove. But then, that's just my opinion of course. Just watched this again on iPlayer. That Orchestra really is fantastic with a terrific Rhythm section. If you have not seen the show, it really is worth a watch.

Stunning arrangements, top, top playing from very experienced musicians, great vocals. Shame Richard Bona was struggling vocal wise, he is normally on it. You see, get in top arrangers, experienced players and vocalists and things just work.
