    Yep, the old Underwood phase issue. I've always used an Underwood for roots/Jazz/rockabilly and always leave the G side out. I normally have it through the G side bridge eye running through a cylinder of foam. Shadow obviously produce the single paddle pickup as well as the Underwood clone to deal with this. The Underwood sounds great like this

    Stevie, I just sold a brand new Basswitch great piece of kit, just too much going on for me. If I were running an e-bass and an upright, that would be my choice. I run a Dtar Solstice with my upright mixing two pickups. It's been the best option I've found so far.

    Vintage Revolution acoustic box live My D-tar Solstice also does a decent job, I just find the eq frequencies aren't perfect for bass, still a nice true sounding pre though.

    This looks great. Was always interested in one for my loud upright work, went with an Iamp instead. Don't buy another amp, don't buy another amp....... I've just got too many amps just now or if be all over this.Good luck with this , looks awesome.
