  1. Some pedals, like some Digitech ones actually provide stomp locks with their pedals to combat this. Ibanez had a tone lock series which allows you to push the knobs in to stop them changing I've seen pros just tape them down.

  3. Mark was great. Easy transaction.
  4. Ehx nano pog would fit in nicely there. In fact, so would an ehx canyon which can actually do the pog thing too as well as a bunch of other stuff (delays, modulation, overdrive).
  5. Used but in good condition. Price includes mainland UK postage, payment via PayPal gift please The Keeley Neutrino gives you all the classic, funk, auto-wah sounds and that Jerry-In-A-Box sound. We have used the classic opto-coupler design for a rich and warm depth to the effect. Envelope filter sound is an effect triggered by your pick attack or strength. The harder you pick, the harder it “wahs”! Sounds bubble up from a deep rounded warmth to a shinning brilliance. Solo notes are individually expressive based on how hard you play. Create incredible vowel sounds… Can you say “Let’s get it on”?!? Chord-work “stabs” sound right out of the disco dictionary, play that funky music white boy! The Neutrino Envelope Filter has a simple set of controls so you explore a wealth of tones with ease. There is a Gain control to set the input level to an appropriate strength so that you can trigger the effect with any type of pickups or instrument level. This control is critical. Pick an open string on your guitar and adjust this control until you hear the wah sound rise and fall. Set just right it sounds like a wah pedal rocking back and forth as you play a note. The peak control is how “sharp” or “warm” the effect is. You can think of this a way to make your wah sounds really mellow or really “quaky”! The Filter Selector lets you choose between 3 types of filters to carve out different tones and timbers. The Range Switch adjusts what frequencies are being stressed HI or LO. Easily find your voicing. A side-mounted Direction Switch allows you to control which direction the wah sound goes. Wah up, wah down! The Neutrino Envelope Filter is designed to work with bass guitar and keyboards as well. Simply adjust the Gain to get it to trigger the way you want. Then, adjust the Peak control to set how much it “wahs”. Use a Keeley Compressor after your Neutrino to create a wall of lushly filtered tones that really stand out. Then, even with the more delicate sounds of the BandPass or HighPass settings you will be able to improvise with stunning clarity.
  6. Barely used. Bought at Xmas but not been playing much. £SOLD Inc UK mainland postage. Payment via PayPal gift please. To create this sonic behemoth, MXR's engineers combined the Growl section of the Bass Octave Deluxe with a long-forgotten fuzz circuit. With three separate output level controls for the fuzz, sub octave, and dry signals, you can create your own recipe of subterranean tones without sacrificing any of your instrument's natural sound. Further versatility comes in the form of the fuzz section's tone controls and two switchable voices—warm and compressed or bright and aggressive—along with the Mid Level control, which allows you to give your dry signal some more punch in the midrange

  10. I'm pretty sure there isn't any internal trim. I had the Bass Juice and did quite enjoy it but I also didn't really see the point in the second switch as the difference in gain wasn't massive which kind of made it redundant for me.
  11. Didn't the old Danelectro Reel Echo do this? Also, I seem to remember the Subdecay Echobox did this too.
  12. In excellent condition, I bought it new at Christmas but I'm just not using it that much. Comes boxed with instructions. It does so much, from being a straight DI box, to being a portable studio EQ, preamp for pushing power amps, speaker cab simulator, rumble filter. £SOLD Inc UK postage, PayPal gift only please. The 60s and 70s are widely recognized as the heyday for professional recording console design. The EQ and preamp sections of these near-mythical vintage consoles are highly sought after, even to this day. Some of the most iconic guitar and bass tones in the history of recorded audio were tracked direct straight into these consoles channel strips. - The Q\\Strip was designed with sophisticated features that enable you to take these highly-coveted tone shaping circuits with you, whether youre heading to a live gig or tracking in the studio or into your DAW. Its compact, extremely cost-effective and in an ultra-convenient DI format. - The 100% analog MOSFET circuitry in the heart of the Q\\Strip provides the warmth, girth and larger-than-life tones for which vintage consoles are revered. Add in four bands of pro-audio-quality equalization, two parametric mid bands, as well as high and low shelving filters, and you have incredible control over how your instrument cuts through on stage or in a mix. - The HPF and LPF give added control over the frequency spectrum whether youre going direct with your bass, guitar, fiddleor even a vocal. The Q\\Strip is limited only by how far you are willing to push your creativity and how much of that juicy vintage tone you crave. - HPF cuts unmusical rumble associated with many instruments when going direct. - LPF rolls off undesirable frequencies. Can also be used as a speaker simulator. When used in conjunction with the studio-grade EQ section, you can recreate different speaker cabinet curves so you can go direct with your favorite distortion and effects pedals. - Very high impedance accommodates piezos and handles low impedance sources equally well. - XLR is capable to drive power amps and has a -20dB pad to accommodate mic level inputs on mixers and pre-amps.1/4-inch output has switchable +10dB boost on tap, which is useful to drive power amps or push tube amps into overdrive. - Smooth-action custom actuator - All-metal housing - Three modes of operation:1. Phantom power via the XLR Output.

  14. In good condition with original box. £sold Inc UK Postage. PayPal gift please. The Night Wire is a feature-rich harmonic tremolo. What is harmonic tremolo? In short, the signal is split into high pass and low pass filters, then modulated with an LFO that is split 180 degrees. The Night Wire takes the traditional harmonic tremolo a few steps further by allowing the center point of both filters to be adjusted for different tones. The filter frequency has three modes: Manual, LFO and Attack. In Manual mode, the center point can be set to a fixed position with the frequency control. In LFO mode, the filters are continuously swept and the frequency control adjusts the speed. In Attack mode, the filters are dynamically swept according to pick attack and the frequency control acts as a range control, much like a standard envelope filter. The tremolo section has two modes, Manual and Attack. In Manual mode, the speed of the tremolo is governed by where the rate control is set. In Attack mode the speed is controlled by pick attack and the rate controls the sensitivity; the harder you pick, the faster the rate and vice-versa. The tremolo can be subtle and shimmery or full-on throbbing depending on where the depth control is set. With the depth set to zero, the Night Wire will act like a fixed filter, phase shifter or envelope-controlled filter depending on which mode the filter frequency is in. It also features a cut/boost volume control to get your levels just right. Each Night Wire is hand made one at a time in the moonlit village of Akron, Ohio.

  16. Great great pedal, I've been using it on both guitar and bass. No box or instructions but in Full working order. A little tatty cosmetically. £220 Inc UK postage, PayPal only please gift preferred JHS The Steak & Eggs Overdrive and Keeley Compressor 2-in-1 Guitar Effect Pedal JHS Pedals and boutique guitar pedal legend Keeley Electronics have teamed up to bring you a 2-in-1 collaboration of two essential circuits with a few delicious surprises. The Steak & Eggs is a perfect pairing of overdrive and compression that you may never turn off. The ingredients of the dish are a modified JHS Pedals Morning Glory and a modified Keeley Electronics Compressor… both of which can only be found in this offering. The left side is the JHS Pedals Morning Glory circuit with a new gain setting that has never before been available in a previous version of the circuit. For years JHS Pedals has been asked for a higher gain version of the Morning Glory that keeps the character of the circuit but gives you more power. JHS released a limited run of 135 pedals in 2012 called the State Line and this pedal included a modified version of the Morning Glory. However, the high gain modification found in the Steak & Eggs circuit is totally new and re-thought from the ground up. JHS feels this is the perfecting ingredient to the already prestigious Morning Glory giving it power, punch, and dirt at the flick of a switch. The gain switch works two different ways in correspondence with the drive control. When the drive control is below 80% the toggle adds headroom and punch, when the drive control is maxed it adds more dirt, saturation and gain to the circuit for the most available drive ever in the circuits history. The standard bright cut toggle everyone is familiar with is still available via an internal dip switch. Whether you like over-easy, sunny-side up, poached, or hard-boiled, this will be a glorious morning treat. The right side of the Steak & Eggs is a new three knob version of the classic Keeley Electronics Compressor. The Compressor features a blend control which allows players to blend back in their original unaffected signal for very punchy tones and the tenderest compression available. It's great for humbuckers where over-compression can result in a dull tone; this design helps retain brightness. An all new mid and treble emphasis circuit has been incorporated in this design as well. The "Bright Switch " is also new to the Keeley Compressor. Flicking the toggle switch up allows players to fine tune the highs in their signal by pushing the perfect frequency range for that "jangly" tone! The compressor also features a fast release time allowing players to experience all the warmth and sustain of the earlier Keeley designs yet retain clarity in note definition. If the player would like a more spongy, tube-like compression, there is an internal DIP switch that gives you the classic Keeley sound, perfect for chicken- pickin’! The Sustain Control is where all the magic happens. As with all of the vintage Keeley OTA designed compressors, the Sustain control may make a swoosh sound as rotated and it will not affect performance when playing. In the center you will find a toggle to select the order of the effects. When the toggle is to the right, the Compressor is first. When the toggle is to the left, the Morning Glory is first. This gives you total control over the way the compression and overdrive affect one another. With these modified classic overdrive and compression circuits in one box, the Steak and Eggs is the perfect staple for your pantry. Marinate your ears and incubate your tone with the Steak and Eggs.

  19. Used but in great condition. The Broadcast is a transformer-coupled, discrete Class-A germanium circuit, that takes its inspiration from classic recording consoles of the 1960s. The unique way in which the circuit saturates and colours your signal can be used to produce biting clean boosts, subtly coloured and thickened signals with a frayed-at-the-edge quality or - when pushed - an individual sounding overdrive with a fuzzy, fried texture. The PG-24V-FS has an internal voltage boost circuit that increases the 9 volts coming in from the power supply up to 24 volts. The increased voltage gives extra headroom and a tighter low end - fantastic if you are looking for a little less saturation and grit, but without losing that unique sound of the Broadcast. On the PG-24V-FS we have made the gain mode (LOW or HIGH) selectable via the right hand foot switch (the blue LED indicates when the pedal is in HIGH gain mode) as well as giving each mode its own LEVEL control. In addition, the PG-24V-FS has two internal trimmers that allows you to fine tune the amount of gain each mode has. £SOLD inc UK postage, PayPal gift preferred
  20. Hardly used as my b3k gives me my more aggressive tone and I've now got a valve amp which gives me overdrive too. I bought it new a month or so ago but I just bought a new bass and need to recoup some funds, so have a few quid off what it would cost you new. Possibly the best bass overdrive on the market for tubey, amp-like overdrive. I actually have a valve amp now which does overdrive all by itself. This isn't just an overdrive though. See below: Grizzly Bass is a different kind of animal created with the pro player in mind. Like a tube pre-amp but without the fragile tubes or heavy transformers. Drawing from the experience and technological advancements of the Holy Fire, MW1 and Funkulator; Grizzly Bass has untouchable studio specs and rugged aesthetics to match. Clean Boost - from 0dB to +12dB. Overdrive - analog wave shaping tube simulator technology. Distortion - Hard edge clipping circuitry. Mid-Scoop tone shaping control. Hi-Cut filter to shape edges for vintage speaker simulation. Pristine Redeemer buffered output. Buffered bypass is stock (true bypass is optional) Can be used as a DI to plug directly into the line-in of any sound system. Uses 9VDC 250mA* standard center-negative 5.5 x 2.1mm barrel connector. Small footprint 3.1" x 4.25". Typical distortion relies on ridiculous gain and clunky forced-clipping, which creates unwanted noise. Which in turn needs to be filtered out—and that makes for thin, nasal tone. Ever wonder why pedals intended for guitar don’t work well for bass? This is why. But Grizzly Bass borrows proprietary wave-shaping technology from the Holy Fire to achieve tube-like saturation without adding noise or heavy filters—preserving your bass tone all the way down to 20Hz. And it sounds great on guitars too! This technology makes Grizzly Bass a very musical pedal that responds to your touch. Softer attack velocity gives you a cleaner sound, but when you dig in, the Grizzly Bass starts to roar. It's so touch-responsive that it's easy to control the saturation with your playing dynamics alone. When you plug directly into a sound system or use a solid-state amp, Grizzly Bass is a great alternative to a bulky, fragile and expensive tube preamp. *For best results use the High-Current output of your pedal power brick Looking for £185 posted in the UK, PayPal gift preferred.
