  1. A fantastic and very versatile multi FX. At its core it is a dynamic flanger, a double phaser (one dynamic, blended with an lfo based one) and a step filter. Internally you can switch this to all be manual rather than dynamic, so you can get regular flanger, phaser and envelope filter sounds. £SOLD Inc UK postage, PayPal only please - gift preferred
  2. A well liked, high gain bass distortion with bass and treble Eq. I've just got no use for it in the style of music I play. £SOLD Inc UK postage, PayPal only please - gift preferred
  3. So this is probably the most versatile and excellent phaser I've ever tried but honestly I've just kinda gone off phasers. This is the original MK1 Wombtone and has the dip switches on the bottom..as well as some velcro. £SOLD posted in the UK, PayPal only please (gift preferred)
  4. Really cool tiny fuzz, capable of whacky tones. I've got the Igor expression pad too. £SOLD posted in the UK, PayPal only please (gift preferred)
  5. Totally surprised by this one. Great low end and extremely versatile as you can pick the frequency you want your distortion to be fixed at but separately tailor the high and low end as well a whole bunch of other features like being able to plug in an expression pedal and use it as a traditional wah. You can use the bias control to get more "velcro"-like fuzz sounds. £SOLD posted in the UK, PayPal only please (gift preferred)
  6. Very versatile preamp with switchable distortion and DI out. SOLD includes UK postage, PayPal only please (gift preferred).
  7. It's with a really heavy heart that I'm listing this, I just moved to a flat from my parents house, sold off a bunch of bases and amps and was hoping I would have enough space.....I don't. It's a truly odd one because it's a hybrid BUT the power section is valve and the preamp is transistor. So that's 30w of valve power but it actually stays relatively clean. The input can be overdriven by high output basses. It actually reminds me of an ampeg amp a bit, it's deep and warm but not dirty. Being a 45 year old amp there are some idiosyncrasies with the knobs but everything works and it sounds great. So, I've tried to dig up what info I could, found a bunch of guitarists playing through these on YouTube. It's branded GEM and is Made in Italy, and I've seen the same models branded Galanti. Inside the head there is a sticker dated 11.05.73. Looks like someone put a handle on the top too. You know I mentioned it reminded me of an ampeg? Well, as well as the sound, the head is designed to be screwed in to the removable top of the cab and flipped INTO the cab for storage, although I've not actually tried doing that. I'm looking for £299 collected from Rickmansworth in Hertfordshire. Any questions, please ask. Regards Theo
  8. One of the most beautiful rigs I've ever seen and it's literally a few towns over. Unfortunately I have neither the money nor the space but jeez, I wish I did.
  9. I've owned this for years and bought it new maybe 6 years ago. I've not used it in at least a year as my bands are no longer gigging and I'm about to move to a new property where space is going to be an issue. It's seen better days cosmetically but nothing too bad (some scrapes and tolex peel) and it's working brilliantly. Collection only from Rickmansworth, herts. £SOLD cash on collection or PayPal. 10. I actually love the fine character of the Deco , I used it in a recent recording over my Hudson Broadcast and ss/bs mini. I seem to remember that the secondary function for one of the knobs is a tone control for the saturation and the low gain sounds are great BUT it's alot of pedal for alot of money. You can grab a used one for around 225. I'm still finding my way with it but the double tracking can also be a chorus, flanger or delay so it's pretty versatile
  11. I'm moving house so gotta raise space and money, got a few things on the chopping block. Check out my other listings for a Gretsch Streamliner, Squier Jazzmaster and Squier Strat. I've modified this from stock by adding a Staytrem Bridge which cost me about £70 on its own. I also bought two sets of some super expensive custom Kalium Strings (formerly Circle K) from the US cost me a bomb in postage and import tax. One set is on the bass and one set will be included with the sale. The reason I got these is that they're high quality Strings in a heavier gauge than most big companies are producing for the bass vi, which means higher string tension so less floppy than the stock strings. "Death" neck plate will be removed before sale and replaced with a stock one. £SOLD posted in the UK mainland excluding Highlands. £SOLD collected from Rickmansworth, herts. Cash on collection or PayPal only.
  12. Got this up for grabs, I've owned it for a few years now. It's awesome but I'm about to move house and need to downsize the collection. I've added a matte black pickguard (I'll include the original with the sale), a Mustang bridge and a buzzstop, as well as wrapping the Bridgeport's to ensure they don't move about and throw off intonation. Things to know: the pickup selector is a little dodgy and you may want to get it looked at, it's never bothered me as I'm a "set and forget" kinda guy but it can cut out when you're switching, but not once it's switched, if that makes sense. Also, whilst the "rhythm circuit" is fully functional, the replacement pickguard actually didn't have the holes in the same place for the volume and tone rollers so I've left them inside the cavity and wrapped them in plastic to stop them rattling about. Obviously not an issue if you fit the original plate or have no need to constantly vary the volume and tone on the rhythm circuit. Also, the "sandman" neck plate isn't for sale and will be replaced prior to sale. Other than that, it's a banger. I'm also selling a strat, a gretsch and a bass vi. Give me a shout if you have any questions. Collection from rickmansworth, herts, massively preferred but I can post. £250 collected or £280 Inc mainland UK postage, PayPal or cash on collection please
  13. Hi everyone, I've got a used squier strat for sale, needs a new high E string though. it plays and sounds great, got a few chips and scratches. I replaced the white pickguard with a black one, the holes don't quite line up but I think it still looks much better. I would sell it for £90 Inc UK mainland postage or you could collect from Rickmansworth, herts, for £70. Payment via PayPal or cash on collection. Any questions, just ask
  14. Hi everyone, I'm about to move house and need to raise some moving funds and space. First up is my gretsch, it's only been out the house once so it's in excellent condition and got a bigsby...oh yeah I swapped the black plastic knobs for chrome gretsch ones. I'd massively prefer collection from Rickmansworth but I could post to mainland UK excluding Highlands for about £35 Payment via PayPal or cash on collection. Any questions, just ask
  15. Bonus round: pair it with a Hudson broadcast to have both a neve preamp front end with neve eq!
  16. Well I know the hpf is set to 40hz so that might help with keeping things tight. I noticed an audible difference even playing through studio monitors.
  17. I've got one. Super duper powerful eq, the lpf and hpf are a great touch however the lpf is based at 3k which I would usually think is a little low for me but the other controls make up for it and from what I understand, the drop-off isn't as steep as on some other lpfs. So it all balances out and allows me to get some cab-sim sounds when I DI. I'm not in any gigging bands at the moment but it's a great tool for recording everything, guitars, bass, vocals. I did think at the time "why don't I get the vtbass DI instead? Or the two notes lebass" but this has a great eq and small footprint and isn't just for one instrument. The deep down truth is that I bought a spotless b-stock qstrip in the states from prymaxe. The b-stock discount, coupled with the other discounts they offer and the fact that I could get free shipping to my father in law's and then just bring it home meant that I paid about £160 for it. At that price, I'm very happy. At the UK price of £308? I don't think I would get enough value out of it to justify the cost.
  18. One Control Hookers Green Bassmachine SOLD

  21. As sad as it is to say, i think this thread kinda killed it for me, a little bit, and for all the right reasons. I don't have the technical knowledge to know if my ideas will work practically, it's a pretty saturated market, especially when you're not reinventing the wheel and if you are then you may have an even smaller audience base. I kinda like the idea of a fun project and don't mind dropping some dollar on getting it together. I still love the idea of having my own brand, my own spec of pedals that i could sell to others if the interest was there. I'll see who responds to me, if one of the people i messaged today does and thinks they can do what i want them ill get a pedal made.
  22. Thanks all of you, The ideas i have are not ground breaking to be honest, nor are they meant to be. My primary idea is to release a "staples" line, a boost, a light overdrive and maybe a fuzz all based on existing designs with some modifications (for a start, i want everything to work equally as well on bass as guitar so maybe larger input caps on some of the circuits, or something, you get my drift-my thinking is that a good pedal builder should have some understanding of how to modify a circuit for better bass response if somebody, ie me, asks them too). Let's face it, at least 70% of pedals of there are based on something else. I already know what circuits i want to base them off, but i absolutely understand that because i don't really know how circuits are put together i am making some massive assumptions on the ease of modification and the willingness of a builder to do the work, but as i mentioned, I'm willing to pay the agreed price upfront so the builder won't lose out. I want to make some simple to use pedals that sound great on bass and guitar. I don't want to get into "mass" production, i would order very small batches of each pedal and if i sell out then i would order another small batch. I wouldn't intend on this being a real job, more like a semi-lucrative hobby. Getting good quality audio demos won't be a problem. Good quality video is a bit more of a stretch but not impossible. It still sounds like a fun idea for me but might be worth me finding out if i could get "prototypes" build as a proof of concept, ie get X builder to make me a fuzz based on Y circuit with A,B and C modifications, I've done it before, actually with Sleeping Dog FX and SFX in the past but those were more niche designs that had limited appeal outside of my own tastes and musical needs.
