Look what just showed up at work! Obviously I can't plug it in yet but it feels comfortable, no neck dive when balanced on my knee. No fret buzz or dead spots. Great fit and finish as far as I'm concerned and the size and weight feel very natural for a short guy like me. Came with an excellent Gibson soft case that is heavily padded. I'm impressed, but for what it costs, I'd expect to be. I have a practice amp at my parents and I'll try to do a quick phone recording on my lunch and do a better quality run through tomorrow when I'm back at mine.

I've got a Babicz Full contact bridge on my grabber, I think I might put it on the DC and see if I can get a chrome pickup cover too. I really like the grabber but I'm not a big guy and she feels like a battle axe in my hands. On the other side, shortscales fit me right, feel amazing but I always struggle with them tonally (I can't really explain it). I feel with the optional coil tap, I might be on to a winner

So I found somewhere that had the brown DC bass in stock. I bought it, should get delivered Thursday. It was absolutely a bad financial decision for me, so someone please buy my Flea Jazz. I could also be tempted to part with my Gibson Grabber II

I used to have one of these too! Really liked it, still got the original pickups as I replaced them with Dimarzios. Ultimately I couldn't get on with the look.

Pretty good condition, but the reverb knob looks alot darker than the others, there are no rubber feet and there is velcro on the bottom. Comes with original box which is pretty tatty. The Expression Series Ambient Delay provides a hybrid of digital delay layered with plate reverb, for everything from slap-back to extended repeats. It features settings for delay time (50ms - 1s), delay feedback, reverb level, and a foot-sweepable effect level control to create anything from subtle textures to ambient soundscapes, all without taking your hands off the guitar.

If you can find one, the MIM Fender Pawnshop Mustang is great. It's comparable to the MIJ Mustang in feel and quality. So much so, I actually got rid of my beloved MIJ and replaced the widerange humbucker on the pawnshop with a nordstrand Mustang pickup.

I've tried one, not for a while and not for long so please take this with a pinch of salt, but I found it did indeed give the +5 and octave up as I wanted but remember not liking the tone at all. Maybe if I was only going to use it with a fuzz or Distortion after it, then that might work out okay
