  1. But do they deliver free next day?
  2. Unfortunately, small shops, don't stock some items due to shortage. For example, I couldn't buy a puncture repair kit from a big name cycle shop, the shop assistant wasn't even bothered by my presence, I was the only customer in the shop! Amazon delivered less than 24 hours later, same with other bicycle related kit etc. Nowadays, to obtain something from a shop is a nightmare. You need to go to several shops to find what you need, and the likelihood is they're out of stock. You waste time travelling , polluting with your car, parking, several hours gone, end up frustratred. Amazon delivers next day and I can use time I would spend shopping elsewhere. Although I am not happy that prime video charge if you want to watch some TV programmes.
  3. I mean , I go through a phase where I listen to all sorts, but there are songs that I could not even give a try. I will suggest it today
  4. I've turned down two invitations on JMB First band did cover songs I didn't mind playing apart from 2 songs I wasn't sure. The female lead singer has the same pop dance move to every song including AC/DC, so I said that repertoire was not my cup of tea. The second band clearly did not read my ad, they had some space ( cosmos) related title, even called themselves like someone from star trek. I wonder what their dress code is. Now, a local guy asked me to join a cover songs band. He plays guitar and sings. His voice is good. He found a drummer that hasn't played for years and another guitar player. He suggested four songs to learn. I don't mind two. One is fine. But the fourth song is Michael Kiwanuka. The song is a bit wishy washy, completely not my style. Do I give it a go and learn something I don't enjoy and see what other suggestions they come up with in future or politely turn down.
  5. That's nothing. I invented music before the big bang.
  6. I refurbished a cheap squier to look similar to Early to mid 90s Dave Murray Jackson strat he used. Rebuilt in garage hence...
  7. Just because his name is Hamster he is not cagey about stuff. Bought pedals from him , made contact and within minutes of payment he posted items next day delivery. Thanks
  8. @MoJo Finally found the decal I used. One of the guitar necks I did.
  9. That was a bloody predictive text haha So. My planet rock phone app seems to shut down . My portable DAB radio works fine and plays planet rock, but can't get planet rock in car DAB radio.
  10. My app seek to shut down every now and again. The radio works fine, but my car DAB not, starnge.
  11. I love Planet Rock. My neighbours love it too as every time when I am gardening or doing stuff in the garden I take may radio out and it's always quiet around. I think they're listening to it too.
  12. I have made several. I will try and find the paper and let you know.
  13. I've been recently using t racks mixing mastering software including master match, it's pretty good. Warren Huart has good deals on every now and then with other producers.
  14. When I saw the British Lion gig he played his West ham bass. I've seen photos of a blue bass with lightning effect
  15. I think a good mix and master depends on how good your hearing is, on motivation and listening gear. Good set of speakers, headphones etc. I've used Produce like a pro free you tube videos. Pretty good stuff there.
  16. The only bass that can handle the Steve Harris signature flats is my sparkle blue bass. The other bass has Fender flats , they last longer and are cheaper.
  17. I reshape the worn out picks with a sandpaper, well for guitars
  18. TC electronic Spectracomp and boss tuner
  19. I don't gig but my Fender Rumble 100 is pretty loud
  20. Idea from another thread. Steve Harris checkered bass
  21. Thanks pal, I've seen it doesn't he slap the bass too😟
  22. 👍
  23. I wish they did live recordings. That era was somehow neglected. They were knackered from the World Slavery Tour. Such a shame. I remember SIT album release. I was getting ready for school when the played Caught Somewhere in Time on radio. That album along with SSOTSS are a totally different dimension, technically advanced.
  24. Steve Harris is the main is the biggest influence on me picking up a bass. Always dreamt of having a sparkle P bass as a youngster. I do own one now, but I never researched whether his original bass has the same chunky almost baseball like profile neck as the Japanese made Steve Harris sparkle Royal blue signature bass. I have played the Mexican made West Ham signature model a couple of times but the neck is slimmer and very comfortable. Even the body feels different. Steve claims it's the same bass so if they build replica of his basses why don't they keep it the same.
  25. Thanks lurks . I've tried this morning but the exported file is not playing right so give it a miss, but of course will contribute with my vote as most of time. and voted..
