    I'm not a huge fan of U2 (especially Bono who's a real pain in the āss) for sure, but what I always like is their simple and effective rhythm section as it's what makes a song great. Remove the bass lines from their tunes and they'll sound bland, but as I said earlier any bass will do the job, except for the look. Some good friends of mine have a U2 cover band (Ultraviolet) for more than 3 decades and it's always a pleasure to go and listen to them. In fact, they are like the original band: Real friends from the start, and it's great seeing them playing TOGETHER. They are like a family. That said, the guitar player almost ruined himself buying stuff to sound exactly like The Edge ... I still remember his early years having that massive rack higher than a fridge to get all guitar sounds needed, now a Helix or another equivalent pedalboard is doing the job. The bass player has quite a lot of Adam Clayton's signature basses and amps too, but it's his thing.

    East UK U-Retro 5 Knob Deluxe (active/passive push-pull tone) with black knobs (only 3 springs for the single knobs, was fitted like this). Fully working and tested (the back of the epoxy has been glued in the middle where it tends to break, but it's only cosmetical), comes with the original user manual.
