  1. Hi All, Up for sale is my MB 2x10 Combo. Can be used as a wedge, flat or on it's side. Lightweight, versatile and sounds rather nice. Minor marks on the covering but nothing worthy of mention. I had an issue with the amp unit last year where it turned on but stopped producing any sound. Only recently got round to getting it fixed by Real Electronics who are the approved service centre for MB products. Cost me a ridiculous amount but they put a new board in and serviced, so close to being a new amp! All works perfectly but does not sit with my plan of using separates, so have decided to move on to a new home. Looking for £500 £450 £400 on collection from Bromley BR1. Thanks for looking.
  2. Bump with pics. Oops, missed some dusty bits after pics were taken.
  3. Hi All, Time to move on my Bassix EUB. Always thought I'd get a small jazz combo going but it never happened and if I'm honest with myself it's unlikely to. I've owned this from new for about 15 years. Rarely gigged and very good condition. All composite body, made by Alan Hatswell of Bassix in Kent. Piezo is under bridge. Pin and arm/body rest removable. Height adjustable with pin at bottom. Still has the sticky position markers that Alan put on. Comes with a soft bag. Not sure if Alan still makes these but would be well over 1k now as that was the price over 10 years back. Looking for £500. Thanks for looking.
  4. Hit me up with any reasonable offers, I can only say yes or no.
  5. Really need to shift some gear now, so £225 posted.
  6. Spoke to Dawn last week. Think they are playing catchup with orders and will start taking them again soon.
  7. I keep looking at this thinking is it the same one I purchased new from the Bass Centre in Wapping around that time.
  8. My first bass was a lefty Jedson from a shop that sold a bit of everything in Camberwell, London. Short scale but was longer scale than the lefty guitar version sitting next to it. Both £22 new, in old UK money.
  9. Bump for reasonable offers. Could be interested in a straight swap on an original Barefaced Compact 1x15 or part ex on a lefty 5 string.
  10. Loving the roasted neck on the Sires
  11. Considering moving on my 2021 M5. Only reason for selling as I may go for a 5 string version. As new condition. Used on about 10 gigs including last night. Everything works as it should. Looking for £375 £325 including UK postage.
  12. Forgot I was selling this. Close up photos of the unit.
  13. Still have this sitting in a spare room and looking for a new home. Hit me up with reasonable offers.
  14. Thanks for the offer Steve but ideally looking for a straight sale, unless another lefty bass could tempt me.
  15. Warwick LWA 1000 watt, lightweight 2 channel bass amp in excellent condition. Full eq and compressor per channel. All black model. Comes with original box, foot switch and lead for channel switching. £300 250 including UK postage. Will upload photos asap but meanwhile below is one from a gig last weekend. tube demo and chat here.... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kj14xChKA38 Warwick's first entry into the field of lightweight Bass Amps is the 1000W LWA1000. This convenient package of 2 input channels with full Eq section and compressor on each channel combined with a power amp stage that is designed using the latest advances in so called Class D technology gives you a chameleon that can be used in pretty much any situation. The configuring of the Amp to give 500W at 8 Ohms and 1000W at 4 Ohms makes it possible to have the power you need for the gig regardless of the size of the venue. The 2 inputs lets you have 2 Basses plugged in and ready to go with their own unique settings already dialed in. The Pre amp is based on Warwick signature Class A/Low Z circuitry made famous with the WA and BC series of amps. This technology makes sure you have the warm huge distortion free sound you desire without disturbing noise. The advancement in Power supply technology and error correction circuitry in the Class D power amp used in the LWA 1000 allows for tighter and stronger bass response than previously possible in this type of amps. Making it comparable in sound to much heavier Class A/B amps. Features : - 1000 Watt Bass Amplifier Head - Delivers 1000 Watts of power at less than 1% THD - 1000W at 4 Ohms - 500W at 8 Ohms - Lightweight and ultra-portable - Noise-free Class A preamp circuitry - Class D power amp section - Two independent channels - Channels can be selected remotely with footswitch - Separate Input Gain control for each channel - Mute function (separate for each channel) - 4-Band equalizer (separate for each channel) - Adjustable Compressor with bypass function (separate for each channel) - Compression knob simultaneously controls the compression amount and make-up gain. - Stereo auxiliary input jack for connecting MP3 player, CD player etc. - Headphone out with Integrated stereo headphone amplifier - Serial FX Loop - Tuner Output - Line Output - Studio quality balanced DI output with Pre/Post and Ground Lift switches - Combined Neutrik / ¼" jack lockable speaker connector. - Internal temperature regulating fan control circuitry - Dimensions (W/H/D): 270mm x 98mm x 146mm (10.6" x 3.86") - Weight: 2.75 kg (5.95 lbs.) - Including a metal Footswitch for switching between channels and TRS foot switch cable
  16. Thanks, yes they punch well above their weight.
  17. Mike made the necks for these, I remember him telling me a few years back.
  18. Hi All, had this bass for sometime and due to not seeing much action it's time to move on. I used it on a gig last Friday to make sure all works well before letting go and tuning, neck stability, electrics are spot on. Bass is very well balanced with no diving. Cort B5 Artisan, open pore model. Bartolini pickups, 5 band eq, passive/active switch, 5 piece neck. Soundwise it has a Warwick vibe about it. One of my old Streamer basses comes to mind. There are some minor marks to the body. Photos taken today so please have a good look. Here's a link with review https://performermag.com/best-instruments/best-bass-guitars/cort-b5-plus-mh-5-string-bass-review/ Looking for £275 £225 including UK postage. Thanks for viewing.
