  1. Hi, just seen this. Yes was my bass and built as discussed with Jon S. Really can't think why I sold it on as a lovely sound and a pleasure to play. Probably too many basses at the time. The rotary dimmer and zero fret was original if I remember correctly.
  2. Bump. £180 posted before Ebay.
  3. Hi All, Selling my Sire Marcus Miller M3 bass. In great condition apart from a very small chip at the bottom of the body. Tried to show this in pic, framed by my camera. Ordered online a few months ago and arrived like that! Other than that all good. Electrics fine with a fabulous preamp at this price. Lightweight with no neck dive. Fretwork great, no sharp edges. Only seen about 10 gigs from new. Reason for selling, I have 2 Sire basses and getting more DJ work than band work at the moment. Here's a link to the Sire page for all spec... http://www.sire-revolution.com/product/sire-marcus-miller-m3-bass-guitar/ Just to clarify the chip is on top and does not affect the strap button on side of body (pic a little misleading).
  4. Just messaged you, sold last night.
  5. Thanks Ped, yes as you say ok now. I started the ad, then paid, but couldn't see it anymore. appeared when started to redo the ad!
  6. No case I'm afraid. Meant to say in opening post, open to very near offers.
  7. Hi, my scales say 8lbs but I know there are a bit dodgy so I'll quote the Chowny website which says 8.5 and it feels about that. No trades I'm afraid, straight sale. Based in Bromley, Kent/SE London
  8. In great condition and a sexy vintage blue colour. Everything works fine with no dents/dings. UK postage £20.00.
  9. Hi, paid my £7.00 yesterday evening with confirmation email received but my my bass is not showing in the thread, and cannot locate it in search. Anyone else have this problem?
  10. I was often in touch with the owner of Alligator amplification as I used his cabs for several years and visited the factory(ies). Thats def the Alligator logo but he wasn't kitted out for building basses. I know in his early days he was involved with bass guitar distribution!
  11. Open to reasonable offers 😀

    Reverend basses

I like it, little bit retro, can be timeless. Never played one though.
  13. Thanks Rob, hope all is well!
  14. Hi All, Had a stroke last year and although got back to playing pretty quick its still not quite the same. gig circumstances have changed and starting to favour a 4, so my Shuker 5 needs a new home. In great condition with Shuker branded case. Delano JMVC 5 split coil humbuckers. Seymour Duncan STC3 preamp. Thanks for looking.
  15. sblueplanet, yes can confirm shortscale 30.75". Happy Jack, agree, fun to play and that neck and scale makes playing a breeze.
  16. My scales don't work but I would say around the 8 lbs mark. Bass sits well with strap. Here's some spec.. http://chownybass.com/product/swb-1-scott-whitley-signature/ I don't make home videos but will see if there is something out there of me using this one.
  17. My SWB-1 is for sale, in great condition. This is the active model, Ash body. Been used from top London functions to Butlins music weekends. Purchased last summer. Only reason for selling is I'm in the process of ordering the Pro version and full payment is required up front, so thought I'd get the ball rolling. New price for the lefty version is £515. Looking for £390 ovno, UK postage included.
  18. Wow my old bass. Tempted to buy it back but can't justify another bass in the house at the moment.
  19. Gotta go. Anyone interested at a silly price of 130.00 cash on collection?
  20. Thanks guys, the bass has now sold.
  21. Bump to the top, gotta go.
  22. Forgot I'm trying to sell this. Fired it up today, sounds fab and still available.
  23. Thanks Rob. It's not seeing much action at the moment unfortunately.
