  1. In which case it's mine as my son moved out leaving it with me
  2. Stagg 3/4 size EUB. Selling on behalf of my son who recently moved out. Good condition apart from some lacquer cracking at rear of headstock in pic. Headstock is completely solid so no issues there. I know he purchased it used and learnt to play upright on this, gigging a couple of times before getting another EUB. Comes with gig bag as per photos. Don't know much about the instrument other than it plays well and all electrics are fine. He is looking for £280 or very near offer and collection from Bromley BR1. Thanks for viewing.
  3. I had a lefty one I picked up cheap a few years ago. Used on several functions and worked for all styles I found. There were known to be the occasional issue with the truss rod IIRC!
  4. Purchased this setup about 5 years ago. Revalved by Blackstar 3 years ago and hardly used since. Both items great condition and comes with footswitch. It's quite a compact mini rig for what it delivers and tone wise very versatile. The separate items being nowhere near the weight of the combo version. Recently fully tested and working with no issues. Collection only from Bromley BR1 area. £400.00 £350.00 Thanks for viewing.
  5. Hi, Having a gear clearout and have these items for sale. Is it appropriate to list in the usual amps and cabs for sale or list in the guitar section?
  6. Time to move on my Barefaced Super 12T. In very good condition with no obvious marks to the tolex. Grill is also good. Top handle and wheels are good. One particular side handle covering is showing signs of wear externally but core still lifts fine and connected firmly. These are quite cheap from Barefaced I understand if someone wanted to change. Comes with Roqsolid cover which fits firmly with no tears. Been a great cab when used but not seeing much action over the past 2 years hence sale. £600. Cash on collection preferred from Bromley BR1 area.
  7. Almost went for this as remembering the time I played the same model and colour in Rockbottom, Croydon a lifetime ago and regretted not buying it. Glad the temptation has gone.
  8. Have had this for approximately 3 years and not used much since I've owned it due to lockdown. Everything works fine. Pretty loud compact combo. No mods or repairs. No noisy pots. Some minor marks on the covering as expected. Chrome facing is clean, just reflections and finger marks in photo. Used on a corporate last week as per one pic and worked perfectly with d.i. Looking for £200 cash on collection from Bromley BR1.
  9. Sale update. The new set of DR strings i was going to include are now fitted on the bass and have seen one gig. Used factory and lighter gauge DRs sets I will include. Documentation/ certificate etc and hardly used gig bag in photos.
  10. Hi Chris, yes it is. I put some new strings on a few days ago and it's sounding pretty monstrous, so using it on a gig tomorrow.
  11. Not surprised you want it back, that looks lovely and presume sounds it too.
  12. Hi All, Ordered this direct from Maruszczyk towards the end of 2019. Managed to gig it several times before the lockdown, then basically sat there for over a year doing very little apart from a couple of lockdown videos. I acquired a couple more basses last year and most of my gigs going forward are not bass related, so unfortunately somethings gotta go. Not a mark on it. It comes with original gigbag and paperwork. Original strings are currently fitted. I'll throw in a brand new set of short scale DR Sunbeams as well as a set of used DRs. I don't currently have a box so will have to sort that out for postage. Will include postage in the price, UK only. I took off the scratch plate as I liked the look as is. Will come with it screwed back on. Any questions please get in touch. 13. My old bass! didn't have it for long even though it was a joy to play and sounded lovely. Only gig I can remember using on was a Water Rats function. An older gentleman came up to me saying how much he enjoyed the bass playing. Our guitarist was a bit miffed that Bert Weedon didn't approach him at all 🤣
  14. I mostly listen to talk radio but tuned into R2 to days ago and Get Back was the second song in.
  15. The Who, Edmonton Sundown 72/73. Squashed at the front so about 10 feet from Moon's kit and ridiculously loud backline from Entwistle and Townsend in both ears. Having said that my first gig and I loved it. Daltreys bottle of water being thrown over me every few minutes kept it real
  16. Don't listen to albums that much these days, but back in the day... The Who. Live at Leeds Cheap Trick. Live at Budokan
  17. Some fabulous memories on some of those posted so far. Couple here. apologies if already in the thread... Remember playing along on my first fretless to this. Mo Foster on bass iirc Black Beauty...
  18. Came across an old photo recently of my Fender Mustang. Purchased it for £150 used from a shop in London's Shaftesbury Avenue late 70's, before I knew anything about basses. Sold it on a couple of years later, still not realising what a gem of a bass it was and how I may have appreciated it years later. With the original finger rest in that position and look, I guess it was a later 60's early 70's model.
  19. As I rarely play between gigs, I can safely say my playing has gone in one direction only
  20. Recently purchased an amp from Sean. Smooth transaction and the item was as described. Deal with confidence. Thanks Sean.
