  1. I use a Gramma Pad, it’s excellent and not had any issues on boomy wooden stages since. For the money they’re excellent and super well built too.
  2. Very nice, you can’t go wrong with a P imo. Only does 1 trick but it’s bloody good at it.
  3. You know me, I don’t do Jazz basses but I played this for 2 hours when it arrived. It’s damn fine
  4. 1974 Fender Jazz Bass This beauty is in all original condition apart from a very well done refret at some point. To be honest with the amount of use the bass has seen, it’s not surprising it’s had one in its lifetime. It’s a super genuine bass hiding nothing. Neck plate stamped 73, which is an oddity but pots, pickups, pickguard all date to 1974, not out of the ordinary for Fender as we all know. Truss Rod works as it should. Neck has no markings on the heel. Popped it round to Bassdocs for a once over today so he could cast his beady eye over it. Super light weight for a 70’s Jazz, sitting at 4kg fully loaded as seen in pics. 2 previous Pro Owners before me, who used the bass live and in the studio. This beauty has genuine mojo in spades, no relic job here !! Non original case, be quick this stunner won’t be around long. Can deliver using my man with a van for £60, possible mid point meet up or you’re welcome to come and try up here in the North 🙂 For sale elsewhere on my website and reverb at a higher price. More pics available if required, it’s really a play it bass tbh, it just feels right. No trades thanks and price is firm.
  5. Just notched up the 100th deal with Paul. What a guy! He’s keeping me in biscuits 😂 Enjoy the pedals dude and remember to just leave that direct debit running 😂

  19. Fender Precision Bass 1972 with Jazz neck. An absolute killer P bass with a lovely ‘72 J neck in beautiful condition. Has a wonderful full fat P sound, plays wonderfully too. Pick ups date to early 60’s and pots are dated 1966. The neck is in lovely condition too, no issues and truss rod turns both ways as it should. The frets could have been replaced, pretty tough to tell. The tuners have been replaced with GOTOH FB30 Comes with a Fender tweed case. Weight 3.7kg Price includes U.K. postage.
  20. Now £650 Fender Precision Bass neck 1975 Originally a fretless that someone has fretted with Hosco frets, it’s a pretty nice job and it’s been levelled and plays well. Dots in wrong position on side and whoever fretted it only inlaid a single for a 12th fret. Beautiful board and has Schaller tuners installed ready. Truss Rod works perfectly. No longer needed so up for sale. Price includes U.K. postage.

  21. I have a lot of vintage Fenders myself and had even more through my hands over the years and without doubt the late 60’s early 70’s are my favourites. They just sound and play well, every one of them. Late 70’s aren’t in the same league imo. Pic of my sexy, well gigged 72 for you voyeurs 😂
  22. Yep it does mate. It’s a beauty
  23. It’s excellent and plenty loud enough. I only use it at home with the Bassrig in front of it. Through either of my Barefaced cabs it’s damn good and lightweight rig heaven. However it’s up for sale as I’m stupid and don’t mind lugging the SVT around 😂
