[/quote] The factory is in Poland but Adrian M himself and his trading company Public Peace are based in Aldenhoven, Germany (that's why the factory address doesn't figure on anybody's radar). My understanding is that he was planning to either move his demo facility to the factory or build another, main demo suite there this year. Just got a Magellan 800 from Graeme. Arrived mint and boxed - how good is that?! Everything went as smoothly as you could possibly wish for, so no hesitation in echoing the other positive comments about this top Basschat-ter. Oh, and I absolutely love the amp btw. Mike

Hey Scott! That doesn't look like a short-scale to me

The MK link is a bit tenuous! This bass was never owned or played by him but the owner allegedly knew JD and MK personally - which does make it expensive IMHO.

Post script: I sold the AH500X for a nice profit and have been gigging my beloved 300 replacement ever since. (It's only worth a single hernia compared to the full double its predecessor was capable of.)
