If you're looking for a unique bass that offers all the playability of a short-scale while retaining the 'presence', balance and substantial feel of a 34" standard, then this is for you. NOW £325 DELIVERED UK MAINLAND This lovely example of The Jack is in exceptionally good condition. So nice that I couldn't resist buying it despite only playing short-scale basses. It just looks so cool, sounds so good and feels so 'right' to wear and play. Regrettably this (and/or other stuff) now has to go to fund an expensive s-s custom build. Price includes hard case (don't know if it's the original but it certainly looks correct) but not delivery. I'll post more pics later but at the mo P-bucket is playing up to the point where I'm losing the will to live!!

Re Photobucket, are you shortening each image link by deleting the extensions on the outside of the [IMG] brackets? My experience on this forum is that you can only post a single pic unless you do that. In any case, Photobucket have managed to render their service practically unusable IMHO - it keeps tripping over itself in its rush to show you adverts that you don't want to see !! Really nice bass btw

I've got the 4-string passive version, and it's truly sublime. As the many Mensinger / Maruszczyk owners on this forum will confirm, the quality of these basses takes some beating - at any price. This should be one of the lightest, most comfortable 5ers you'll find (mine weighs in at just over 3kg). Some lucky owner will be getting a fabulous bass that IMHO is also a work of art. If 5 strings were my thing, I'd be straight in there!
