    Been through, but never used all at once 😁. In fact never more than one on my board (plus a preamp sometimes) at any one time, and this was on an almost weekly rotation until i stopped. More is good, not knocking that at all, and i do believe bass sounds more in testing with an effect or 2, but more then you would ever need and calling it a negative.....just silly.

    Same here. The only reason my Stomp out lasted my HFX was for home playing, where its a bit easier to use with headphones. Thats the only time i used an amp sim, and even then by the end i was pretty much using the BDDI sim instead. I would have liked a LT, but like the Pod go it has the expression pedal on it, and i would never use it. Yes, i could have just not used it, but its sitting there making the board larger than it would need to be without it.

    Haha, and I still never used more than 6 blocks in my HFX. I think it’s very easy to get things out of perspective on here. It seems to be a ‘you can’ rather than ‘you will’ a lot of the time. I just don’t get the ‘must have’ when in reality you won’t, ever. EDIT: That seems a bit judgmental, it wast supposed to be. I have nothing against having more, i just think its easy to go over the top and then never use most of it.

    I really think as a bass player if you need that many effect blocks you are playing the wrong instrument lol.

    Cheers. Ive had a few silly offers but nothing sensible. I can understand there isnt much need for live gear at the moment. I’m sure it will be here for a while.

    Sorry, yeah, the DSP bit. I always thought they were different but never really looked in to it. Just interested really. I know the POD GO uses a different one, just wondering how they all compare.

    Had a few enquiries, including one for £300 😏 Now need to get shot of this asap as i have something else that needs the space, so price dropped a bit. Not desperate enough to lose too much though.

    Yes its possible. When i had my HFX i used to play my ipad through it using the FX return, and mix that with my bass. One time i had a guitar also plugged in to the right hand input. All came out through the main outs in to my headphones, but obviously you can run that to a mixer. You can use the mixer blocks to balance it all up in the HFX.

    For me its been the perfect cab. I love the covering, and the size is just right. Not a small 1x12 that looks lost on a stage, but not an overly large heavy cab that makes me wish i had something smaller. The amount of times ive carried it up and down the stairs (we live on the 3rd floor on an estate) and not broken a sweat is great. Its quite well balanced physically. Its been the only cab ive had in the past few years that i have taken to every rehearsal and not felt i can be bothered. Tone wise its also perfect. Not a huge low end like the F112 or BB2 i had, so not a problem on wooden stages, and not overly bright or middy, so easier to tame. Very smooth and even across the spectrum, but still with some character and not sterile or flat.

    Indeed. I’ve had Barefaced, Schroeder and MB. This is in a different league as a singe stand alone cab.

    Get more cabs, that way you can fill the spare room with them. You know what that means 😉 First one that has two will achieve god like status on here, gotta be worth the small cost eh? 😂

    I got this on here end of last year, and finally found the tone i was looking for. Unfortunately I’m now playing keys and have no need for this, nor the space. So reluctantly I have to sell it to make space and fund a keyboard combo. Got a few marks on it, but nothing major. Also comes with padded fitted cover. Here’s description. The Bergantino Audio Systems ‘Carbon Neo’ CN series of lightweight speaker cabinets nod their head to the traditional HD series but have a different function. These are the lightest speaker cabinets that we make. The precision tuned cabinet architecture and the enclosures are built with the finest lightweight Italian poplar plywood (with Baltic birch baffle boards) selected to our specifications. This lightweight cabinet material (along with the lightweight magnet material) helps reduce the overall cabinet weight. The lightweight carbon covering is used for cabinet cover material and is also lighter than the traditional tolex covering found on most speaker cabinets. A rigid black grille is added to protect the drivers from damage. The internal components used are extremely high quality and they are of Bergantino design. No ‘off-the-shelf’ parts are used. Woofers with Neodymium magnet material are used for the low frequency section of the CN series cabinets. The Neodymium drivers have a punchier low-end and a very sweet midrange that is placed a little more forward in the sound field when compared to the HD series. Fretless and upright players will often prefer the CN cabinets because of how the midrange ‘speaks’ with their instruments. The CN series cabinets have a high intelligibility tweeter mated to the woofers through a custom designed phase-coherent crossover with a tweeter control. Because of the increased cost of the Neodymium magnet material, imported wood for the cabinetry and the unique covering material, the CN series speakers cost more than the HD series, but may just be the right match for your playing style and weight needs. Very easy to carry. 2 x 12" Custom Neodymium drivers with 7 oz magnets High intelligibility 1" tweeter Custom phase - coherent crossover with tweeter level control•Precision tuned 100% Baltic Birch cabinet Power handling - 700 watts rms 2 x 1/4" and 2 x neutrik connectors Impedance: 4 ohms Dimensions: 31"H x 18-1/2"W x 15"D 79cm x 46cm x 38cm / weight: 46lbs/20 Kgs Not looking for any trades, and cant offer delivery at this stage. Ive just had a hernia op so cant even carry this downstairs as the moment, so buy collects from central london.

    Exactly the info that our studio sent out. Still taking booking and all above board. The culture secretary Oliver Dowden made the announcement yesterday. Mr Dowden said ""Arts venues are places of work, so people can come into them for work, if it cannot be undertaken from home. This includes rehearsals and performance. Audiences are not permitted." Seeing as we don’t have fun, its all good.

    I loved the MK2 PD i had a couple of years ago, more than the original one, but the BDDI was still with me and i couldn't use both. What i didnt like about the PD is purely the amount of EQ choice. Unlike with the BDDI i was forever tweaking the PD. Not a negative of the pedal, but it was distracting . I’d say the same about my Q/strip as well. Too much choice is not good for me. I sold my BDDI recently, but still have a BDI-21 which I’d use if and when i go back to bass.

    BDDI. Just a hint of drive and a bit of thickening up. More noticeable when its turned off. Back in the days when i used to use MarkBass amps i really couldnt play without a BDDI or BDI-21. Tried swapping it for a Paradrive, VMTD, Q/strip, VTBass DI etc, but always came back to the BDDI. When i got a B3 (and its variants), and then Helix, i still used the BDDI sims as always on.

    My vote would go to this. A mate has one and its bloody loud and deep sounding when he uses it at home. Not sure I’d want to gig it without another, but two together come in at under a BF 1x12.     For me the bug system is perfect. I’d say i can get around 12 hours out of them (based on 3 x 4 hour rehearsals) and we have extension leads with USB ports on them so charging isnt really an issue. If i had a pedal board I’d probably have gone for the WL50, for the reasons you give above, but in my situation the bug was more convenient.

    Same here. Just to make sure I’m getting the best connection, but normally i dont find i have to. Since my last post i actually swapped back to the non ‘L’ version, as i got rid of my TC head and prefer the slightly warmer (in headphones) tone of the cable tone.
