Last year I had a moment of slight madness and sold my short scale ACG. A month ago or so I had a much more serious moment of absolute madness and I sold all my basses and amplification, all I had left was a forlorn bag of leads. Yesterday I regained my sanity somewhat and was very lucky to be able to buy back my ACG Recurve SS 4 and very pleased I am too, this beauty is for keeps. @Clarky gets visiting rights.

I'd be very interested in hearing your views on it. In my experience cheaper FRFR speakers can rarely handle bass, they appear to be pieces of equipment where you get what you pay for. RCF, QSC and Yamaha seem to cut it where very little else does. Very foolishly I recently sold all my basses, amplification (I have a few leads left!) and now I've seen the error of my ways 🙄 I am looking to replace it all, I could get two of those with change out of the price of a QSC.

Yes. I used mine as a monitor taking a line out of the back to the desk. So bass > HX Stomp > QSC K12.2 > desk. At gigs without PA I would use the QSC as backline.

Welcome @Puzzler, I agree wholeheartedly with @SumOne, you've potentially saved yourself years of searching for a decent bass, Sandbergs are superb instruments.

I had a QSC K12.2 which was a little heavy but fitted just right on a small sack barrow. Once you've played through a decent FRFR rig it's difficult to even imagine going back to a traditional amp/head setup. It was a game changer for me for sure.

Man, I’m not saying how many times I saw Adam and the Ants, suffice to say Dirk Wears White Sox remains to this day one of my top five albums and I bet we have been in the same audience more than once!

I remember liking them but there not being anything in particular that made them stand out from many other bands at the time. I liked the b. side of Unexpected Guest, a track called Dresden I seem to remember but other than that I don’t remember any of their songs despite seeing them so many times.

I think I’m correct in saying Bauhaus played at The Rock Garden six times in 1979/80, none of which I attended unfortunately as I was dossing about with Killing Joke but my girlfriend at the time attended all the Rock Garden gigs as she was a big, big Bauhaus fan. The early, early Bauhaus gigs were mad but brilliant.
