1.
As a seller you can't leave negative feedback. It's been like that for a while now.
Yes although you can write "beware" in capital letters, and report the buyer to eBay and block them That's about it, very skewed playing field
2.
Yeah, that's what I thought, but I think Geek99 was meaning the OP was in danger of a slagging off the buyer for not completing, or at least that was my interpretation.
Yup, exactly my buyer didnt pay for six days then ignored all communications. Only paid when i, under eBay advice, asked to cancel so I could second chance. They refused. I sold the item to a friend, the non paying buyer was still able to neg me and eBay did nothing. They always protect the buyer except perhaps in the most extreme cases - they literally get away with murder Have been on the receiving end of a lot of sour grapes feedback, so always talk to eBay and always use the "report buyer" option . My feedback % is totally f£&ked thru no fault of my own Beware
3. As i recall in my law degree, you made the terms of sale clear, you won't ship, he insists you ship. The sale cannot be performed. However Talk to eBay to cover yourself as he may give you neg feedback out of spite. It happened to me and eBay will not remove it.
4. True, but they are not expensive . You should treat yourself

13. I have asked for some bass playalong books for Xmas so going to learn some Hendrix and police songs. I can already do the simple version of all along the watchtower but its not the original I know it's simple stuff but you have to start somewhere. I'm also learning some songs a local singer songwriter has written - they're solo parts at moment and he wants help to flesh them out with 12 string and bass Edit: my little one is three and I still get little practice time
14. Probably daz ?
15. @Gs1000 Good - that you're near probably helped. Didnt help me : Jaco book took ages but that might be because our postman is both slow and dyslexic

19. I had a quick read on the train (long delay due to suspect package left by some prat at sileby station helped)- up to where he hears of elvis dying and I felt I was standing right behind him for those events. When you next talk to him, Bluejay, please pass on my complements on a job well done. Not a bass-geek book but an interesting vignette into a life
20.
Answer should be "Yes, it's a bass guitar".
Sorry - I disagree . Different instrument played differently for different reasons giving a different sound in a different role.
21. Thanks to BlueJay for taking the time to pass this to me in Central London. I didnt help by being underground in the sea Life centre, and thsu out of mobile communciation, changing plans on the day, texting my location to someone else by mistake, and also stepping away from our table to check if the disabled toilet was free just as she was looking for me but she still found us. Thanks again I shouldnt be too long, who's next ?
22. This is now winging its way to GS1000 today via the tender care of Royal Mail . Hopefully a miracle will occur and it will reach him safely
23. I have a closest of marlowdk s jazz bass as my wallpaper, and I often bring my bass in (in a gig bag) when I have a lunchtime lesson. So they probably know. One did say "have you brought in a guitar?" Answer "no, it's a bass"
24. I learned both together and it went ok. I just bought a 12 string
