Chap down in Norwich - asked for dull nitro 3t sunburst with lots of mojo and checking. Results will be uploaded for your viewing (dis)pleasure (delete as appropriate)
He reckons a month or so
I had an ephiphany with precision and fold my jazz to buy one. Every so often I think it might be needed ve to have a jazz as "they are so much more versatile" then I realise I don't need one really
Its 45mm wide
I think its input switched but would imagine batt check would work without
Tricky part is that battery is separate and last owner fitted a batt box. Trend now is for built in batteries
Wonder if anyone has a scrap apc pro ?

I'll go against the tide and say: do it.
But do it well, with a neat route.
Having the bridge pickup makes a Precision a much more versatile instrument. I'd consider a double J humbucker rather than a single J. In my opinion it balances better withe the P pickup. Or even an MM style pickup.

Having done it myself I agree totally
The bass doc wasn't sure, I asked exactly this question when he was building it
He said, and I think he is right, having chipped some off, that's it's poly but it's very thin as poly goes. It's way thinner than the mex fenders I've seen
I have a bass with exactly this same body from the bass doc and I can confirm that they are high quality, nice wood but also light - I recognise the sunburst pattern
I use a zoom b2 into a little MP3 amp off amazon "aroma" Has small speaker too so I can play along in a quiet room at OM nights
If you have an iPhone or iPad then tonestack app is worth a look too

There were a couple of years in the 80s that I thought were OK, all the rest of it has been sh*t.
The 21st century so far has been the worst of all of it & there's no sign of it getting any better.
Looking forward to death quite honestly.

Being s kid in the 80s was rubbish compared to now
Clothes were awful, food was awful and tv was awful

Good answer, because after the basics are covered why does the issue of justification even arise?

This
you jammy jammy jammy bar stewards
My basses live in their bags in a corner of the kitchen and my zoom lives in a cupboard. **
But we are moving soon and there should be a bedroom free....

I have a tanglewood odyssey with an artec apc pro. Previous owner fitted a battery box on upper bout. I chased and found a fault in the junction block that joined the battery box
The preamp still doesn't work (I'm pushing the batt check button and it doesn't light up, new 9v batt checked with a multimeter
Does anyone have one or experience of one ? Do I need to plug in a lead to get it to work?
Do they "burn"?

Might give "Groove is in the heart" a try

Other musos spot it and join in. Make you miss first eighth note of second bar, held from first bar
