  1. Or you’re in U2... 😛
  2. Check it with a multi meter @KiOgon would know definitely- why not upload some pictures ?
  3. I’ve only ever bought one bass specified by me and I wanted a 70s 3Tsb precision. Simple choices. If we’re talking “coffee-table with strings custom”, I’d get a five so I didn’t have to buy two. You can always not use the B those overwaters are so much better at playing bass than I am that I may as well be on Mars
  4. @Andyjr1515 is this your speciality ?
  5. Make it a no-load tone and I’d agree
  6. I have a no-load tone in my p bass. You can really hear the tone control drop out, also there is a tactile but soft click as it does so
  7. Oh yeah - see my build thread. Some dust landed on it and left a crater like lake baikal
  8. Was actually thinking of redvee above.
  9. Yes, and They work well as nut files. You get a nice straight slot which you don’t get using a length of floppy string
  10. I think @Radchenko has a better command of English than that. Speaking as someone with IELTS 9 and speaking french and German myself, he is actually pretty good. His email was clearly not the best he could do.
  11. You f ecking heathen. 🤮
  12. 👋 never too old
  13. No, just giving some control and finesse
  14. Why not stick sections of string to a lolly stick or Some such like a dowel and make your own nut files ?

    Got wood?

    I’ve got wood now ...
  16. Hardly a midden imho-Old word for a rubbish tip IIRC
  17. Example: I read that cliff in ac/dc plays a lot of thirds instead of the root and fifths that you’d expect. Since he is in the bass clef that’s a first inversion when you consider the third-less chords the others are playing
  18. Not heard that One... how does it go ?
  19. I’m teasing you a little - that phrase is an in-joke here about questions that newbies ask. I’ll find you the explanatory link but that’s a really heavy bass
  20. Talbot was the Middle Ages word for a hunting dog
  21. Is it any good for metal ?
  22. Welcome to the Light no longer a gee-tard
  23. I think that Kim jong il is probably less forgiving of failure to obey. Can’t see mr Palmer executing anyone with anti-aircraft guns. It would get his suit all messy
  24. They have to wear a “uniform” and have limited choice in hairstyle. Don’t think that’s a fair comment from you
