3. Yep - I had one - changed the strings and the nut went . . . . . . ping!
 4. I agree - tried one in a shop recently and it seemed to 'pump' or 'pulse' along with what you're playing. I think the compressors on the 12 band jobbie are different. I had an old AH300 7 - gibson era - that didn't do this - it sounded good!

 6. I'm not gonna bite. In fact - I don't really do football - I'm a musician, so your comments are totally wasted (feels smug!)
 7.
Is this now a Reverb or has it just closed altogether? I did an Ikea=Guitar shop deal with the wife but checking on Reverbs site it doesn't list MK as a store. Anyone been there recently? P.
Actually - your best bet would be to combine it with a visit to PMT in Northampton
 8. It's not a city. We call it a city - because it is in everything but name. Don't start me off guys - I love living here.

 10.
Rich why do you do it to yourself mate? You've already had a perfectly good Closet Classic Jazz and a great Sado NYC which now sits in my bass grotto. However, I can recommend Rich to any buyer, he provides lovely tea and chit chat and has a very understanding family!
That closet classic jazz is mine now - I'm sooo glad Rich, and then Nick let it go!!

 17. It's got two pickups - whassa matter?
 18. The silver strip is DEFINATELY a reflection. it wasn't there 'in the flesh' (pun intended!)
 19. 20.
That ebay link was for a Thunder 3, this is for a Thunder 2 which would go for less. Confusingly the Thunder 3 was previously called Thunder 2, when they introduced this model they 'upped' it rather than call this one the Thunder one and a half! I actually have the same model T2, also in Onyx - lovely bass.
Yeah - I'm pleased with Dangerboys. Got a minor set up issue I need to sort - otherwise sounds very 'modern' - if 80's hi fi is still modern!!
 21. That'll teach you to use cotton buds!! Get well soon mate!
 22.
Yours was the body on the far left and the neck third from left (I was trying a maple board on the '73 PJ when the pic was taken but it didn't really work out). Yours probably turned out to be the best of the bunch Col, which is ironic given it was a complete mongrel
Definately a keeper! Check it out in action on a classic bassline here boys and girls http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=0a08L7a1Ph8&...re=channel_page apoligies for the minor hijack!!
 23. And the buyers sister lives around the corner!
