I've got one - pretty useless I'd have to say. When it decides to work, latency is usually a big issue. Tried to sell it on gumtree a few months ago and couldn't even get a tenner for it. Which tells you something.

Pretty sure it's not Red Dog in Edinburgh...never had anything but great experiences in the place btw, great shop. Would hate for it to get an unwarranted bad rep.

Saw Ryan Adams at the Usher Hall in Edinburgh (small to medium theatre-type venue) a few weeks back. Could not believe the lack of definition on the bass guitar - you could just about make out the root notes, otherwise the low end was just a dull thump. May as well have stuck an octave pedal on the rhythm guitar and given the poor bassist the night off....

Looks like I'll have to put my SWR redhead combo and an extension cab into a storage facility while we try to de-clutter to sell our house. I have covers for them (& insurance): anything else I should do to avoid any damage?

I'd go for a Lakland 5501. Was my first five string - really playable, well made, and you can pick up a used one for around the 400 mark.

Bought a zoom B1Xon pedal off Dan this week. Great price, got it quick and I'm delighted with it. Great stuff!
