6.
Bugger, the flatwounds that was on the charity table that i threw a few quid in the pot for were actually used roundwounds in a flats box! Doh! Should have realised but i hadnt even played flatwounds til i played on Hamsters P bass today. Ah well its all for charideeeeee
Tell me about it! The DR Black Beauties box I picked up contained only a shriveled piece of orange peel and a bluebottle with an eye missing.
 7. Absolutely wickid day! Wonderful meeting so many cool people. There was some seriously high end kit there as well as HappyJack's £75 Kay, which was the surprise of the day for me, a great bass! Silverfoxnik, Merton, Hamster, Mrs Hamster (she's totally lovely ), Ped, Happy Jack, thanks so much for sorting it. Brilliantly organised! The talks and demos from Jakesbass, Alex Claber (sorry I didn't catch all of it mate), Ped and Bassace were REALLY interesting and useful. Thanks to Paul and Oli on the drums, thanks for the jam! I've come over all cuddly Cheers all !! A few pics quickly uploaded ..

 12. Anyone who looks at the decal on the headstock should notice that it looks like a 6 year old applied it. It's all over the place. Who Knows what the body is, could be a genuine one, hence the bids..

 15.
Nice to see this resolved, and people keeping cool heads. You're like Fonzie. All of you. A veritable Eeeyy of Fonzies we've got here.
No need for WHUFC to go to JJ's house and steal his pants, or whatever it was he said people do.
 16. I'm really pleased. For you and jamiejames.
 17.
Purely out of curiosity did he give any reason for the inital non payment ?
I'd also like to know but it's probably a private matter between the two parties. My initial thought was he was having some problems, some people don't deal with things well and end up pissing people off due to avoidance. How many times have you been scared to look at your bank balance or communicate with your bank when you've been in the financial sh*t? When if you took some control and talked to your bank, things would probably be ok and you would feel a lot better. Hopefully, Jamie has apologised and normal service will be resumed.
 18. Bugger, I was looking forward to meeting you at last.
 19.
if i had the money to spare i'd totally come by train, i'd love to come, but due to some slightly unforseen (more like overlooked) circumstances, i'm pretty tight right now, sorry guys! We'll have to get some of you southerners up to the next notts one!
That's a damn shame dude.
 20. Great news! Nice one gents.
 21. It has been taken down from Gumtree just now.
 22.
Damm i was hoping that it wasnt sorry to hear that dude, i hope you can get a good resolution without the need to "bang heads"
Maybe he f***ed up, is trying to sell it to get enough cash to pay for it. Anyway, why ydon't you report it as fraudulent to Gumtree
 23.
Looks like he is already trying to pass this off or someone has bought it off him already OR same bass different person! http://glasgow.gumtree.com/glasgow/32/45029932.html Sorry to hear about it mate, hope u can sort it!!!
That is indeed the man.
 24. I remember his threads and he seemed ok. He was quite forthcoming and open about himself. I have a feeling something weird happened and he's embarrassed or too worried to contact you until he has a resolution, OR, he's a complete arse who's thinking there is little you can do to get your bass back or the money he owes you. If that's the case and he still wants to open a shop, he's in need of sectioning. I'm with GM10, I would leave out the derogatory comments.
