1.
These look very unlike Bongos with piezos.......... They look rather like (whispering) Fender copies. V nice looking though.
I want all three!
2. See above...I'd like one VM and one TM...probably 5ers...they seem to look better in 5 string format. I'm edging towards maple.

5. Yeah the NY122 is a SUPER loud clear cabinet. I had one for a very short amount of time but as I had so much else I didn't need it. It's light and slim and kicks like a mule. It has a much better tweeter than the usual Piezo loaded cabs.
6. The only thing I don't like is their tort...it seems VERY red like the MIJ Fender Tort...is it like that in real life?!
7. There is a new version of the Neo X cabs with Faital drivers. Apparently they are even better than the last spec of drivers that used to be used. It's also making the weight slightly less! I think the 212 is now 47lbs. They've also taken about £50 off the asking price!
8. http://www.configurator.sandberg-guitars.de/ There is a link off the main site as well. What a BRILLIANT idea. Musicman used to have one years back but that has long gone. I'm very tempted to get a Sandberg at the moment.
9. Cool that you compensated you...you'll never need more power! But, I can't help but think a new amp would have been safer. As you've accepted this one as it is they might be reluctant to exchange it later down the line. These micro amps have a lot jammed inside them so anything could have been knocked.
10. Yes definitely! I would hope they could at least send you a pic every few months Hope it all works out....should be a cracker.
11. I don't like that bass above at all (natural one)....looks INCREDIBLY boring. Mastodon are great but the bass playing and bass lines don't do it for me. The drummer and guitarists are superb though.
12. Markbass NY122, Genz NX2 (the new 2x12) or my favourite, the Aguilar DB212.
13. I'd just get them to give you a new amp! That will take value off your amp and you have no idea if its damaged anything inside.
14. Did that arrive new with that dent?!
15. Look great, sound great, not great QC, weird ergonomics.
16. I popped to Soundslive this afternoon to have a look at their latest stock. Some nice gear! In particular, a Stingray 5 H Piezo in some sort of teal/trans light blue. It was LOVELY. But, it was fretless. No lines. It looks AMAZZZZZZZZING! I doubt I could even play it...still getting used to 5 strings, but fretless as well?!
17. I'd get the RS210. Much better tweeter than the piezo in the Mbass.
18. I kinda wish I still had my two DB212s...I sold those to Higgie to get the 4 ohm single DB212. I'd quite like another pair haha.
19. I've seen the 121P for £670 ish on European sites!
20. Flea is my favourite bassist for slap. Like he puts it, the energy of punk rock with the funk feel.
21. JTUK has a pair of DB210s which he speaks very highly of. If the Aguilar cabs were as easy to get hold of as they used to be when the Bass Merchant was with Darren, I'd have a pair of the DB112's as well as my DB212....no idea why!
22. I would try as many as possible. Aguilar DB410? It's a shame Berg don't make the AE line; their product lineup now is far too small.
23. If you need a lot of volume, opt for two DB212s or DB410s. I have still yet to find a cab I prefer over the DB12 sound.
24. I've had a quote on a custom 15/6 with tweeter, in tolex with metal corners...not bad...considering the high end drivers used. My only worry is that these might be too large in the low end for my tastes....but I would like to try one asap.
