3. Excellent. I've gone back to valve bruisers recently (Fender Bassman 100T's), but gigged a guitarist friends' UK hand built Gartone Marshall Super Bass 100w Clone - tweaked it briefly, and stood back in awe throughout the gig. It was love and the volume on tap was mental. If I didn't already have 2 of the Fenders' I'd be making my friend an offer. My only suggestions would be: minimising the size of the amp casing at all, so it fits on more modern bass cabs ? 2 channels, one clean and the other nuts ? Speakon connectors ?
4. Owned my SL900 since they came out (or thereabouts), and yes I've had head turned by other bits of gear - I'm now on Bassman 100T's. But it's probably a keeper/back-up until it goes properly kaput (touches wood, it's had zero issues). Also a great choice where lots of stairs are involved.

Aesthetically, I love the look of the bigger tuners on the Gibson 2x2's.

Firstly, love blablas' fanned fret lefty EB-alike earlier in this thread. This was my 1963 EB3, originally a really tatty cherry and eventually refinished in Nitro and Polaris white. Sorry for poor pic. Gigged it upside down for 10 years then sold it to a friend. Now moved onto Status King Basses which I feel are kinda inspired by the Gibson LPjr double cutaway / EB0.
7. Anyone have any experience with a Warwick Star bass 4 or 5 !!?? Really warming to the idea of a white one...(amongst the masses of other basses I'm gassing for).
8. Brilliant stuff !
9. Guilty, the Std. has pretty much become my go-to axe.
10. I'd check out the Fender Bassman 100T as well. Got mine going through 2x HS210 Bergs.
11. Barely used - £35 collected ? Chester area. This is a shallow case - 16" in length - quoted as internal 13" for gear. Great for smaller amps Genz, MB, GK etc. Possibly interested in a swap for a decent 2U std depth rack case. 12. Thx for the offer of the stunning looking ACG, sadly it's not quite me !
13. ...if only this was cack handed !!! Nice.
14. Last bump for this bass before it goes on consignment at a quality Bass Store near you ! Still interested in PX's for Status King Bass 5 or something mad like a Warwick Stryker...
15. Yup, fully agree with everyone.
16. That's a positive !
17. Sweet ! Would love to see something like this available at a sensible price - especially a left handed version.
18. Bravewood ? Nope. LH Nash - yes, tried a relic 60's Jazz - wasn't fussed to be honest. Looked nice but was a bit of a let down playing-wise in my opinion.
19. +1 Good stuff. Heard 'The Journey In' in a local Starbucks - had to ask...had to buy. Even their xmas single was cool.
20. I paid half up front then remainder on completion.
21. Get the order in - great basses !
22. That seems a decent price - just a shame the standard Warwick headstock does nothing compared to the rest of the bass.
23. Delivery fees seem quite reasonable.
