5.
So happens I've been doing a few Beatles songs lately. I'm using the books relating to the red and blue albums from amazon. Loving macca and finding some tricky stuff in there. I'm working on Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds at the moment
You might like to check out my Song Pack list, Mr Fretbuzz. (link in sig) There are some Beatles/Wings enties in there. Each pack has a .mp3 song file and a bass score-sheet with notes and Tabs. You will need something like winzip or 7zip to open the pack tho, once you download it. Al
6. I started on Banjo. Then went through a whole range of instruments and had to work hard at them all. So - not a born natural by any means and needless to say, the history doesn't detract in any way from the enjoyment I take from playing.
7. Hello Paul and Welcome to the forum. I guess the General Discussion section would be suitable, but if it's wrong, some very nice moderator will probably move it to the correct place. You'll find lots of friendly help here - enjoy your stay. Al.

12. I think I have a song pack for Aquarius in my library somewhere. PM me your e-mail and I'll send it on. Sorry, but not sure of the bassists either in the movie or who sessioned for 5th Dimension. Al
13. LOl Bill - you're fishing I suspect, but even with it's many flavours, the rock genre is pretty difficult to dislike I guess. Al
14. Not so sure of nicotine content in the weed but you're quite right - I know how much of a task it is giving up and there's no sense in putting all your hard-earned sucesses at risk.
15.
Rock will always come back.
It maybe fades a little - but it never really goes away.
16. All the best again Pete - main thing to relax and enjoy it.
17. Hi Michael - welcome to BC. You'll find lots of help here. (although you don't need language skills to play bass, many members get the idea of what you are trying to say if you need to post a question - so don't hold back) Enjoy your stay. Al
18. Nice interesting post Phil, quite active. Good to see you here - Welcome. Al.
19. But do you think that hearing a song over and over (airplay) contributes to its popularity? Reason I'm interested is that sometimes I pick up on a song and it really rings with me - then I discover it's an old 60s/70s song or track that I missed when it charted, or was published and I find that it's really a high quality song and well put together. This very rarely happens with recent stuff, which I do listen to quite a bit. I think the 60s to 80s (maybe a spill into the 90s) produced some wonderful popular music and wouldn't be surprised if, in 50 years time, music from this time-span will still be played and enjoyed, by old and young alike.
20. Hello Papa J - Welcome to BC Nowt wrong wi' Guild Enjoy your stay. Al
