1. Can't comment on the stolen aspect, especially with so little to go on, but I'd seriously pause for thought before walking into a stranger's flat on the other side of London with a grand in cash in my pocket. If you go, be sure to take a friend.
 2. MacDaddy has many long-standing problems involving Sticky Toffee pudding, but he doesn't like to talk about them in public.
 3.
I genuinely keep better time on my own. I march to the beat of my own drum, quite literally.
Irishman + Drum = March
 4.
Yes, he's got a woman's top on.
Yup, punk has definitely moved on from black bin-liners ...
 5.

What's the problem with this photo? If he pumps enough air into those tyres then surely his car will float to the surface?
 6.
Bargain of the year! Wow!

MB1. BUMP!
Gosh ... it's not often that a bass gets bumped by not one but TWO of our Moderators. And both within three days of the ad being posted. Now that's impressive. Must be something pretty special.
 7.
Back Up!
Nah! If it was mine, it would be first choice, not back up ...
 8. HOTD On Stage ... WTF?
 9.
But I'll be well gone by then!
Yeh, I've heard that about you ...
 10.
MOAR STRINGZ = MOAR $
MOAR $ = MOAR JELLIE BABIEZ
 11.
learn to sing yourself, seriously, have lessons if need be, practice at home by recording yourself and singing through headphones, I improved my singing loads by just doing open mics, most of it is just confidence
This ^^^ Unless you're actually tone deaf, anyone can learn to sing. The trouble is, few people seem to realise that learning to sing properly is about as easy as learning to play bass properly. But a dedicated singer in most bands (and of course IMHO, YMMV, DILLIGAF, LOL, ETC) is a trouble-causing passenger with an ego the size of Jupiter.
 12. Agreed to all the above, but you have to make a decision early on as to whether this is going to be a "serious" instrument or a bit of fun. I use mine mainly with a steampunk folk outfit, where I play most of the set on a DB (oh look, he knows how to play properly) but shift to the Uke for a couple of rockier numbers near the end (oh look, he can have fun too). I don't think my intonation or accuracy are particularly bad on the Uke but, more importantly, I don't worry about it. It's a bit of fun at the end of the set for me.
 13. I tried to watch it but gave up after 10 minutes. The whole thing was so blatantly fake that it made my toes curl. It's hard to be undercover when you're not only trailed by a very obvious camera crew but also the people you interact with have to repeat (scripted?) comments for the sake of the cutaways. Unreality TV at its most insincere. You should now watch out for Ajay's sudden reemergence as a panel guest on daytime quiz shows ... he's a celebrity, dontcherknow?
 14.
Watch the US version of undercover bosses with Peavey...
Sad to see that the Peavey episode of that TV series dropped a quarter of the show's regular audience. They really couldn't catch a break, could they?
 15. £1.50 would get you a decent bag of jelly babies. I know which I'd rather have ...
 16.
... that's the way ... uh huh, uh huh ... I rather like it ... uh huh, uh huh ... that's the way ... uh huh, uh huh ... I rather like it ... uh huh, uh huh
You see, that's how you personalise a cover version.
 17. £1000? For that PoS? Shurely shome mishtake?
 18.
No a mandolin is one of those chef things for slicing veg and removing fingertips. Far more useful than a 15 string bass, if a lot more dangerous.
Fingertips? Pah! Who needs 'em ...
 19. Got it! It's a lefty.
 20. That bass doesn't look quite right ... can't put my finger on it ...
 21.
... and I doubt that image is a chubby bald guy in his 30s.
aaaaaaAAARGH! You've blown away my dreams ...
 22.
Tbh I think if he filed the nut and tweaked the neck to within a knats c*ck of being level, then took the pickups out, replaced them with a haddock and finally advertised it in Mahooosive Hands monthly....he'd sell it in minutes.....
The haddock thing interests me. I had in mind maybe a flounder, or perhaps a pair of herrings (with a coil tap, natch).
 23. I reckon I'd play a lot more fretless if it weren't for the fact that my main band's sound is built around a slide guitarist ...
 24. TYPING EVERYTHING IN CAPITALS MAKES THE ADVERT MUCH EASIER TO READ, DOESN'T IT?
