1. Bump + Price Drop on the Bassballs (a few of these floating about at the mo...)
 2. Have just bought Kev's Meatwad - pleasure to deal with him - quick answers, fast delivery and the pedal was really well packed and protected. Full marks!
 3.
Shouldn't be more than a fiver. I just had a far heavier pedal mailed to me from Wales to N.Ireland for a fiver.
Cheers Gareth. Ok - P&P is £5 for the Nano BB
 4. Not sure - fiver? Can anyone advise?

 8.
Many thanks for the comments, folks; glad you like the pics.
How was your fretless after Bernie's magic hands were laid on it?
 9.
So I'm looking to use a mute / damper to get that motown / baby bass sound (already have flats). But I was wondering where to draw the line - how much damping do I need before it gets too much? (by the way, I'm just using a kitchen sponge with the scourer pad cut off, stuck under the strings near the bridge - should that be enough to do the job?) Yup - that's what I use
 10.
I've just come away from seeing Kyle Eastwood play at the Southport Jazz Festival. What a great player. There seemed to be a bunch of people there who were only there because of his last name, but they had there preconceptions changed. The band was tight and killing. If you get the chance to see him,you should chech him out. I think I'll have to go see him again in Newcastle Under Lyme tomorrow.
Was it Martyn Kaine on drums? Brilliant drummer, top bloke

 14. +1 on The Steve Berry Trio album too, but I haven't heard it in along time as my vinyl player is packed away. I pass by Steve's house nearly everyday and had the pleasure of lessons from him back in 1993 ish. Superb player and top bloke.
I had lessons from Steve in 96/97 - Superb player and top bloke indeed!
 15. Is anyone cross-checking these dates against World Cup fixtures...?
 16. Let's see; Fender Precision Lyte - 1989 to present (de-fretted 1995) Jackson rock something or other - 1993 to 95 Tobias Toby Pro-4 - 1994 to 1997 (I miss this one) Warwick Streamer Stage 1 5 string - 1997 to 2007 Can't remember brand cheapish electro acoustic - 1997 to present (but out on loan) Fender Jazz '75 RI Japan - 2003 to present Musicman 5 string - 2007 to 2010 Fender Precision '72 RI Japan - 2010 to present Amps: Marshall 60w Combo - 1989 to 1992 Fender BXR 300 Combo - 1992 to 1993 (really heavy) Hartke 2000 head - 1994 to 2009 Trace Elliot 1153 cab - 1994 to 2009 Trace Elliot 210 cab - 1996 to 2009 Genz Benz Shuttle 3.10 combo - 2010 Genz Benz Shuttle 210 cab - collecting next week! The first realisation is I've had my Fender Lyte for 21 years! The second is that I had an amp for 15 years! The third is that of the 8 basses I've owned, I still have 4 The fourth is that I should have a Fender Japan endorsement! Writing it out brings so much clarity!
