Should have gone to Specsavers !

Selling instruments is utterly painful - had a few bad experiences selling guitars over the last few weeks. Thinking whether the commission sales model is the way to go.

The seller has just sent me an offer it is now a snip at £229.99 - must resist !

It arrived and it's really nice. The rubber strings will take some getting used to but through my Ashdown LB it shakes the house. £288 well spent !

Agreed - the bullet I picked up for £400 is up there with the best basses I've owned. I'd have this one in a heartbeat if it was nearer (and I wasn't on strike )

They look nice - I'm sure I nearly bought this one before. Would like to try it though as I have tried a Hutchins Prince and was completely underwhelmed.

Thanks for the input Wolfgang. Does the longer headstock and therefore additional weight cause neck dive at all ? I also flagged an Adamovic bass as exquisite in the ebay section of the marketplace and the headstock shape of that one has been universally condemned too. I guess beutry is in the eye of the beholder. Good luck with the brand.

You might be better off with a spectre or a steinberger spirit

I bought this a few minutes before reading this thread -I just liked the spalted maple finish - there are loads at good prices on ebay so thought it worth a punt - hope they aren't as hateful as most of you think !

I spotted the one in Bass Direct before and it looks absolutely stunning. Would buy it in a heartbeat if I had the cash.

Don't think I'd entertain it with that feedback rating unless it was really close.
