    If bassdirect, the bass gallery, etc. had that FMT, I suspect I’d buy it because it’d be priced accordingly - although bassdirect do have an Emperor II that is so eye wateringly expensive, you could buy a new Fodera to your spec and go to NY to pick it up for more or less the same money - I digress, I’ve been after that exact FMT spec for a while now and I could actually afford it but I’m not dumb enough to pay way over the value and lose a lot of money on possible future sale.

    I got through a Morley M2 which broke and a couple of Dunlops which were okay to begin with but then stopped running smoothly. I figured I would bite the bullet and just spend the extra money for this Lehle and they are just brilliant - £125 shipping for this is amazing.

    Its nice reading a lot of folks more or less have their perfect set up already and wouldn't change much. That's where I am too... I wouldn't say no to a post-2012 American Standard Fender Jazz mind.

    I agree with everything you've written here... unfortunately. For the first time in 3 or 4 years, I bought an issue of BGM - I won't be buying another. I used to love buying the defunct Bassist magazine back in the day and when that stopped, moved to Bass Player and BGM for a few years before becoming disgruntled at the amount of advertising pages. Of course, I certainly understand why the adverts are in there - it's just that, as you say, times have changed and YouTube as well as a whole host of other outlets have changed the game.

    We played with a band in Bristol recently and they were so loud, people were leaving the venue. Suspicions and worries initially arose when I watched the drummer screwing one of his drum pedals into the stage floor - and then he started smashing the bass drum during their sound check. It was just so horrifically loud - it really ruined the night.

    It's a bad sign of the market place that this bass amp hasn't sold for £450 frankly. £425 is a so cheap for this amp - GLWTS mate.

    Definitely the best volume pedal I've ever had - all the others I've had have ended up breaking/creaking somehow.

    Congrats mate. I've had 4 of them over the course of 22 years... sold them each time because, despite loving the way they look, I had the same right hand playing problems. Mental that I had 4 of them! Nice shed too.

    Haha - I believe the weight is just shy of 9.5lbs because I had it chambered.

    Thanks a lot. I’ve got to wait until December to pick it up but it’ll make a nice Christmas present I guess. Brazilian Hickory is pretty hard - I googled it when ordering the instrument and it said it was a dense wood.
