Having said that, getting rid of everything but the six obviously left me with no choice but to play it!

[/quote] I always used Fender Jazz Basses and have had loads and loads and loads of them over years. I had 9 of them at one point. But after meeting Ambient and reflecting on it for a good year, I started down the extended range root. Now I only have one 6-string bass! It's a beauty and I'm not finding it boring or monotonous... not yet anyway.

    Saw Snarky Puppy at the Ligthouse in Poole last night - damn they were good - and the support was brilliant too - a band called House of Waters with Moto Fukushima playing electric bass - just amazing.

    Here is my 2013 American Standard Fender Jazz Bass. Three colour sunburst on a really nice wood grain body and a very dark rosewood fingerboard. It really is a fabulous bass - I tested maybe 20 US Standards to find this one. I sold it before and bought it back but I'm only playing 6-string nowadays so it's now finally time... My home scales says the bass weighs in at approximately 8.5 pounds. I'm based in Bournemouth, Dorset. Local pickup preferred but I am prepared to ship it within the UK/EU at the buyers expense. It comes with a case but not the original one. If you have any questions, etc. fire away.
