    Just ordered myself a spitfire tort for my 1964 Precision, specked 60s burgundy. Basschatters seem to have mixed experiences re: customer services but so far all is going very well. These are pretty expensive but there doesn't seem to be anything made at the moment which compares, anyone got one?

    Withdrawn, this just sounds too darn good to sell, its a sale I think I'd regret very quickly, think I just need a better way to transport it and get gigging with it!

    I have the FS' on one bass and the FL's on another, I've also used Chromes quite a bit, I personally prefer the FS, that very small increase in gauge makes quite a difference, I would say the FL' are no stiffer or higher tension than chromes, although it's all quite subjective.

    Anyone have any experience with openlive? My rehersal studio offers this in a couple of their rooms and we're booked in for three hours on Wednesday night. Dont quite know how it works but I'm guessing the room is already miked up, the rehersal is recorded and mastered, then available online, I was wondering what to expect re: quality? And for the record it at Pirate studios in Sheffield, what a fantastic facility these pirate studios are!
