Stand alone compressor pedal that is a battery operated?
2pods replied to MikanHannille's topic in Effects
I usually run off a Helix too, and a separate Cali76 CB. Obviously no use to you, as a PSU is involved but I think it's better for bass than any I've found in my Helix, but sacrifices have to be made 😉 -
Boss RC-10r Rhythm Loop Station Pedal Absolutely mint. I'm the original owner. Used a few times in house and to update firmware. Complete with original box, PSU, and manual. Comes from a smoke free home. Postage and Insurance included in the price. so if you're collecting I'll knock £20 off. Andertons have this to say: "Powerful Looping You're able to use this pedal as a powerful standalone looper with stereo capabilities and 6 hours of recording time. The two circular indicators make it easy to see where you are in your loop and you can store 99 phrases on-board. But this particular looper really comes to life when used with the rhythm machine to create percussive soundscapes, rhythmic grooves or all out rocking drum sounds! Rhythm Sounds Its got 16 versatile kit sounds that will work in harmony with the looper. The RC10R is the perfect combination of tweakable drum machine and straightforward guitar looper. It's even smart enough to trigger fills when changing from section to section! This is great for the on-stage performer that wants to capture the essence of having other musos on stage. Great Ins and Outs The RC10R has some clever tone filters that will allow you to send your guitar signal and rhythm sounds to different places so that you're not getting distorted drums through your guitar amp or unprocessed guitar sounds direct into a PA. You get the best of both worlds and keep your drum sounds clean and punchy! Key Features Next-generation performance tool combining song-based looping and dynamic rhythms in a small footprint Cover nearly any genre with over 280 preset rhythm styles that include two unique sections, intro/ending fills, and two transition fills Sixteen versatile drum kits with high-quality sounds from the BOSS and Roland rhythm libraries Stereo looper engine with six hours of recording time and class-leading 32-bit AD/DA and 32-bit floating-point processing Serial two-track operation for building loop performances with two independent song parts Two circular indicators display loop and rhythm playback status Simple operation with informative LCD and intuitive interface Onboard storage for 99 phrase memories and 50 user rhythms Selectable output filter to optimize guitar and rhythm sounds for a guitar amp or full-range sound system Support for expanded control via external footswitches, an expression pedal, or MIDI Full MIDI I/O provided with space-saving mini TRS jacks (BMIDI-5-35 adaptor cable available separately) Mac/Windows software for importing WAV loops and user rhythms in SMF format Additional content available for download at BOSS Tone Central"

I'm selling my Boss GT-1000 multi fx It's honestly mint condition, having been used a few times in the house to play and upgrade to the latest firmware. It comes with the included PSU, manual, USB cable, and original box, from a smoke free home. I have feedback both on here, and eBay under my user name 2pods. Insured postage is included in the listed price, so if collecting I'll knock off £25 The last but one firmware upgrade included a lot of Bass amps, Bass Fx. The current firmware has now installed more popular delays from other Boss pedals, and a bunch of what Boss are calling "Mastering FX". Needless to say, the FX side is great, as are the amps. You can find out more here https://www.boss.info/uk/products/gt-1000/ I'm willing to answer any questions you have about the unit. The only reason I'm selling is to raise funds for a Fractal FM-3 for my guitar stuff. Thanks

20th Anniversary Stingray (inc UK delivery vat free) - *SOLD*

Thanks, that's good to know. So it's still Thomann.de then ?
-
Is there not import tax, duties etc buying from Thomann now ? Otherwise I'd be interested, as they do quite a lot of handy stuff
-
Didn't say the solid bass had strings on it, did I ?
-
I'd say it would be about 4 x the unplugged solid bodied bass. Not mega loud, but loud enough to easily hear what you're playing
-
What, no squishy-ness to had from the Origin CB76 ?
-
Thanks. I thought they may have been. Not like Andertons to get the details wrong
-
I checked out the specs at Andertons but couldn't find any info on the toggle switches except "pickup select" Are these just selectors ? Surely not, especially with a Blend control ?
-
Yeah the fretless version is definitely "Ikea Burst"
-
I've had one for a while. I really like it. Very woody with plenty of Mwah. The piezo tone control is really good. I like it so much I've been looking for a used Portamento to give me the all in one elec/acoustic thing (though the SRF500 sounds nearly as good for the electric thing). Hope this helps
-
I keep saying I'm done, but if a nice 4 string Ibanez Portamento comes up I could be tempted...
-
What did they do with downstairs then ? BTW I'm definitely out now. I reasoned that since I ordered the Cali76 CB before new year it didn't count. However, One Fractal Audio sale later and crashed and burned.....again
-
That would be Tear Gas. Often called Fear Gas cos of their volume
-
Yeah, it was the weight that got me plus hand damage. So off to the Solent it went. It had a great sound though.
-
I had one of their small but mighty combos from here (think it may have been Owen's ?), but foolishly sold it to a nice BC member from the IOW. Wish I still had it. Sad news
-
Sucked right in ! That's what I get for not checking the date first.......
