I just looked at mine, july 2017 for £448.88 - I had the XR16 before that for a few years but I wanted the multitrack recording.

Wireless system - Lekato, Boss or something else?
Woodinblack replied to ots's topic in General Discussion
And thats what you get for saying that, I plugged them in at my last gig, no sound. Went to a cable which worked. Got them home and sure enough, no sound (the wireless still works, it knows if it is connected, but no sound), seems like the reciever output is broken. So I got some of the WS70 mentioned up the page, see what they are like, didn't like being on a cable! -
Mine is ethernet to the controls and wifi to the iPad. I adjust ours on the fly quite a bit but never had an issue in almost 200 gigs with it.

I think the microtilt wasn't a bad idea in itself, i think it was just that at the time they did it, they also made neck pockets with enough play to allow small children to sneak past the gaps, so microtilt got the blame for it.

Indeed - I never knew people actually bought shims, and I have shimmed a few guitars and a couple of basses.

Ashdown plugin - curiously a Sweetwiter exclusive.
Woodinblack replied to fretmeister's topic in Amps and Cabs
There used to be loads, they have been reduced down to not many due to complaints. -
Yeh, that is pretty crazy, you have to drag a plug out to connect your bass, not sure if I could be bothered with that!

Here is my zoom B3n. It has never been used on a gig and used in a couple of practices and a couple of times in the house. It has hung around and I never really got into it. Great sounding unit, just doesn't work the way I do. As a result it is in pretty good condition although looking at the photos it has a couple of little scratches, which I didn't notice in person (and one I still can't see in person but it is on the photo). Includes shipping to any UK address that parcelforce or whoever post to without additional charge!

Yes, I use apple music all the time and never really got on with spotify.

Oh yes, its too dark in a dark theme, I am in a light theme so I didn't notice that. -
A familiar venue for us last night at a working mens club. For some reason the stars aligned with the PA, being way louder than it was in a smaller venue a couple of weeks ago. Also after complaining for a while that he wasn't loud enough for a few weeks, and me pointing out nothing changed, the drummers singing was loud again (ie, peaking on the input meters) confirming my belief that he just wasn't singing as loudly as he had previously. Anyway, sound good, they had redone the stage to be deeper but narrower so it was a tighter fit, but still nice to have an actual stage, and almost everything went well, a few random mistakes and I felt we did too long, it gets sloppy at the end, the idea of adding new songs is to change our set, not extend it! And who knew, getting moondance on track is actually really tricky when the singer removes one bar from it! TBF though, we have only played it about 150 times.

There is a report link at the bottom of status updates I think -
A Tech 21 PSA 2.0 Analogue (but controlled digitally) preamp pedal which quite a lot of options. has 99 presets of which 10 are bass specific, some good videos on the youtube with bass demos. Very small, comes in a tin (which has a couple of dents in it. The Pedal itself is in good condition and largely unmarked. Can be picked up from here or somewhere close, or can post for probably not much.

Both my last two bands were from JoinMyBand, and in my last side band we got the guitarist from an ad in JMB. So for all its problems it has been invaluable for me. its not an issue with the site, but any free resource that is open to anyone is going to have a large percentage of people who are no use, that is just the public, so it should be no surprise, but it is easy enough to filter. Franky I would find someone replying 'Im not interested' to be a near perfect reply, ie, they replied, they were polite, and saved you from any other effort on that route.

Ignoring the fact that I am currently selling one - the mustang is perfect as it is not only short scale, its quite a small neck in general, and also pretty cheap (there is also the bronco, even cheaper). But I am not female so don't match that part of the criteria.

Boss SY300 synthesiser, in almost unused condition, ie, its never been out of the house and I have played around with it a couple of times. Its a great sounding thing and seems very versatile, just not that much use to me for what I am doing at the moment Can be picked up here or delivered within 50 miles, Bath / Bristol / Exeter etc. Can post for cost if you want Dropped to £220 as I really can't see me using this

Reduced to £300 The not to common AGB205 DVS* which is Ibanezes discontinued 5 string short scale semi acoustic bass, I believe they still do the 4 string, but the 5 strings are uncommon. Good condition, semi acoustic with 2 pickups that look like humbuckers but I dont think they are. Quite bass heavy plugged in, not that loud unplugged but fine for jamming in the room plugged in which is what I got it for. But I am not gigging this and tend to jam with headphones in the room now, so it is not getting used so time to move it on Can be picked up from here, or can meet up within a 50 or so mile region of here, so Bath, Bristol, Exeter, Basingstoke areas. Not so keen on posting as I don't have a hard case for it and it is a bit.. well.. hollow * which stands for deep violin and gold. Not sure how that matches, but there you go, ibanez letters are always a bit random.

Continuing my clearout of basses I don't often play. I have gigged this, and it sounds fine, but I find the neck a bit big, its more like a stingray, quite wide, especially for an ibanez. As a result I don't often take it out. In good condition, just a couple of black marks on the neck, maybe they will clean out, I rubbed them and they didn't Haven't done any mods on this, other than fixes on the wiring when it came. Many people put copper foil in the cavities to reduce noise - the rear pickup is sensitive to noise, but only if not used with the P pickup, and it is so far near the bridge it is very trebly so its not not something I did, not that I had a problem with noise gigging. Very solid, good working bass. Can meet up anywhere near Yeovil or all the way out to Bath / Bristol / Exeter / Bournemouth area

These classic vibe mustangs are truly great basses but sadly as much as I enjoy playing it, it has too few strings for me, so its sitting collecting dust and as I am not gigging it (I gigged it once, sounded great until I couldn't find the B string!) it has to move on to someone else. Obviously you can pick it up and try it, or can meet anywhere in in the range of 50 miles or so, one of the great cities of the south West (Bristol, bath, Exeter, Bournemoth - other cities maybe not as great). I can probably look into posting if you really want
