Works on my Safari - odd that there is something that wouldn't work, its not like there are any webdesign techniques from the last few decades used! Didn't it say on there there were looking for someone to do them a website at some point, or was it on the emails?

My last gig before the guitarist left was 2.5 weeks ago, the new guys can't start until march or so. when the guitarist left he said 'seems like the timing is going to end up alright for having to be out gigging'. Maybe he was right, but then i caught a nasty cold at that gig and was ill for the next two weeks.

We had one a couple of months back, the guitarist wanted to pull out from a gig, eventually we managed to persuade one of the new guitarists to cover it, then it turned out he was actually playing another gig the same night and had forgotten, so we got another guitarist to cover it, then the singers son got covid so we had to call off. Then on the day it chucked it down so much they had to cancel the entire event anyway.

I must admit although I have played it at every gig and most practices, mine still doesn't feel indispensable. If I lost it I certainly wouldn't go out of my way to replace it.

Mine are about the same volume as the rest of my basses, which is not surprising as the rest of my basses mostly also have nordstrand pickups too! I wouldn't want a 6db baked in boost on the preamp, any preamp that actually sounds different from passive when flat is broken in my book. I think if I wanted it to be a hotter output I would just put that on the pedalboard. The only things I ever wanted to change the level on was the MFDs on the G&L2500, they were a bit crazy and the wizzard pickups on my own bass, also very hot.

Why? Its two octaves out of the whole range of the piano. You have to start the scale somewhere. The piano only starts on A because beethoven kept making lower chords, but I don't think he ever had a bassstation!

Most synths have a reasonable bass sound in a mix, just get one of those and find a bass sound you like.

Definitely sounds dud. I am guessing out of warantee?

I have a 24" Asus 2560x1440 IPS screen that was £180. For that sort of money I would want something higher res. I mean this little 16" screen is 3456 × 2234

Thats par for the course I am afraid. I always do an 'excuse me, heavy speakers coming through' and if they don't move, the heavy speakers come through.

I have one of these and have used la bella nylon tapes. Obviously not together. I can't see a technical reason that it wouldn't work, as the clamp would probably work (I remember the tapes being a bit wider) but it isn't something I would try. However, the basses are very bright (the norstrand ones), so maybe the tapes would tame it all down

Sounds like it is broken. Having said that, why are you reducing the voltage to 7 volts on the power supply? I assume it still doesn't work properly on 9V?

Yes, ibanez wiring can seem a bit excessive as they have one wire per every connection, so 3 for each of the volume, bass, treble, mid, power and jack, normally in one strip along the side in quite a large connector. So when you say the mid is not working, does it sound like it is just flat or cut or boosted? Not had too much trouble with ibanez boards and the wiring is normally robust (or maybe over robust), but worth checking out the cables. The wiring diagram for the generic 3 band EQ is somewhere on one of the ibanez threads on here.

In part of the other trial, it was dismissed with prior art, including fleetwood mac, dreams, presumably as it has the lyric 'players only love you when they are playing', as it also has the phrase Players gonna play, which is the name of the other track.

Yes, although that was the music which was pretty similar, not the words. This one has already been to trial with the original judge saying the words were too generic to copy.

Not sure how this could have caused damages to the complainant anyway. I am not sure that Ms Swift actually stopped the other song being successful, and maybe, just maybe, the words are fairly unimportant to the song, which was a more catchy song.

I have quite a few fills that I put in when it is at normal speed that I miss out when it is fast! Its an enjoyable song to play though. First time we did it it wasn't really ready, we needed a couple of rehearsals to get it tight but it was saturday night and a fight broke out, would have been a shame to not use it!

Oh we do saturday night as well, although we tend to do it faster (not intentionally, it always ends up stupid fast!). Love the bassline on that when it is more at this speed.
