1. I bought this fabulous player from our Greek friend: Bassmachine steve in 2014. As a disclaimer: All is original apart from the neck- It has a 2001 Streamer STD Ovangkol/ Wenge fingerboard with Bell brass frets. The body has taken some wear over the years clearly and the volume pot has a little crackle. To hear the sound, Listen to Andy Irvines review of the bass on YouTube. The bass comes with Dunlop Straplocks interal system and is available for COLLECTION ONLY from Enstone/Oxford, Oxfordshire. I will consider reasonable offers and open to all questions.
2. I just received a little gem of a Warwick bass from Stavros. Firstly,he is thoroughly trained in the arts of international postage, It took less than week! I've sent basses to Cheshire under 48 postage and it took over a week! This man is also, undoubtedly, a packing ninja. I put my full trust in Stavros and he delivered higher than any expectations. As has already been said: He's a credit to Basschat and the Bass playing community globally. Buying from Stravos is easier than your weekly shop, All the best. Marty

10. Thanks for that! I am into what you could class as "Old skool" gear and prefer cabs built in the 80's/90's as to modern cabs. Cheers again
11. Hello folk I love Mesa gear and am currently on the hunt for a 1516be cab but have seen a R5410 and just wanting to hear an opinion of anyone who has ever owned one. Just for reference- I would be running a GK 800RB through the cab: Bi-amping the 300w output into the 1x15 and the 100w output into the 4x10.. I was just thinking if all that power handling is wasted with such a low wattage bass head: the sound will be very weak, Right? The 1516be seems more fulfilling for my needs as I 1. Want to bi-amp. and 2. Want a full range of sounds. ..And at only 450w the 800RB will push it but not too hard. If you know of any other bi-amping cabs that work well with the 800RB please comment. Thanks for your time guys! Marty
12. Do you mean RB? ..If so here is a PDF Manual that would of come with the amp- http://tcfurlong.com/wp-content/uploads/Gallien-Krueger-800RB-Bass-Amplifier-Head-Rental-Manual.pdf Hope this helps mate.

18. In my daily travels I noticed a decent Micro Amp in the Banbury Cashcoverters.. £60 is a little steep but with a little barter you can grab your self an essential little addition to you pedal board. For those not aware; The Micro Amp is a single knob line booster that puts all the "Umff" back in bass solos or for any time the bass needs a little more presence in a mix Grab it while you can: (Saw this today folks) Marty
