1. Has anyone made their own wall hanger of a diagonal or horizontal type with success? I'd like to do it with maybe some angle brackets, but better to see what you chaps say or have any pic's of thanks.
2. At around '74 I wanted some sticks to give me more power and I bought Billy Cobham's signature sticks that you needed wrists of iron to use. I broke 2 pairs and still have this pair that I haven't used for years. Great sticks. 3. I packed in drinking alcohol for a couple of years and then I got gout in right toe. Hellish painful so I started having a drink again and never had it since.
4.
I'm assuming it's a fretted bass, Colonel36? If so, the strings shouldn't touch the fretboard itself much at all. Andy
Yes..correct Andy.
5. Now don't go shoutin' at me here. If you were to ...let's say for sayings sake, clean up a fingerboard properly that would normally be oiled and then prepare it properly followed by finishing it with a couple of spray coats of clear lacquer, what would the downside be assuming that it's a brilliant finish with all the frets nice and clean also. Would it affect the sound badly and what way.
6. Just bought a bass from Tom and he posted it immediately. Lovely bass and I found him to be a true gentleman also....plus, he gave me a free gig bag. Couldn't be better. Thanks. Rob
7. Wonderful. Never thought I'd hear someone sing the fabulous Christina Aguilera like she does.

16. This gig is perfect for him. Especially from 2.15 on... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UZfXTVx0sKg
17. I think he'd fit nicely in "The Who" if good enough.
18. Good luck to him. At least he can play and to be fair, what he's doing isn't easy.
19. I'm just keeping it simple here so.. Silencer pads if needed and best make sure they have good bounce or they're pretty much useless. Timing ...nice and steady playing along to different music with good wrist action. Rudiments and practise/ practise/ practise. It's always good to see how to fit in a particular rudiment and not just get bored doing it on it's own so, this guy is pretty good at showing how to incorporate them. All the very best to your lad and at a good age for it as well. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QRpd0G6fxXk
