I went for an audition ,but got a mental block
kevvo66 replied to kevvo66's topic in General Discussion
Their tuning to drop D threw me out but ,they changed some of the songs some of the songs I can play blind folded standing on one leg with a parrot on my shoulder ,perhaps I need a more sedate type of setting a nice jazz band or something like that π -

I was fortunate to have a go on fodera a couple of years back , can't remember the model ,looked great ,played it ,didn't like it ,but I did think about investing some money into something like that at one point as investment I'd been left some money ,but came to my senses and buggered of to Cuba for two weeks which was more enjoyable and left money in the bank ,if your a pro bass player you'll get them for nowt probably, it a fickle business this music business π€

It is indeed a sad day ,everyone likes a bargain unfortunately it killing the high street ,where I grew up the town is a ghost town all the shop have closed it does make me feel sad ,I'm as guilty for buying online we have no record shops left now and one music shop it used to be a vibrant town ,the death of my little town Crewe in Cheshire π₯
