  1. I use the DI on my Darkglass head if I'm unable to bring my REDDI - Otherwise it's the REDDI every time. Never had any soundman object to either of them. On the contrary, whenever I use the REDDI, I have soundmen taking pictures of my rig and asking me what unit is sending them such a lush bass tone 😁
  2. Thanks mate! Glad you enjoyed
  3. Had to learn this track for a gig I did recently, so today I thought I'd record it with my very recently acquired NYC Sadowsky. Check it out here:
  4. Up for sale is my beautiful Sadowsky Metro. The RV5PJ is an amazing bass. The versatility of the P and J pickups, combined with the 2 band Sadowsky preamp circuit and vintage tone control, as well as the ability to go passive means you will be covered in virtually any situation. The ONLY reason I'm selling is I just bought an NYC Sadowsky, and so this has to go to recoup some of the costs, and therefore NO TRADES. The bass is from 2013, and is literally 9.9/10 condition-wise. It's only done a handful of gigs with me - It's in such good condition, I didn't want to risk it taking a knock! If you would like to hear/see the bass in action, it was used on everything except "Eye To Eye" on my band's EP (http://www.thegoodbyelook.com) and a live recording of my function band (http://www.electrixband.com - scroll down to the video!) 59 Burst Finish Tort pickguard Morado Fingerboard Alder body Sadowsky P/J Pickups Sadowsky Preamp with VTC and Push/Pull Active/Passive switch 19mm String Spacing 9.25lbs/4.2kgs Now, on to the pictures! I can take more detailed pictures if need be. It comes with the original rectangular Sadowsky soft/hard case, which is also in great condition. The best price I could find online is £2700 from GuitarGuitar, so I've priced this at £1825 due to it's immaculate condition. Save yourself a grand on a basically brand new Sadowsky! The bass is located in Chingford, and I'm more than happy for you to come and try - Serious buyers only though please! Postage to be paid by the buyer, but I would be happy to meet/deliver within 50 miles, free of charge!
  5. Yep. The MSD Wah has both modern/classic modes (modern having some clean blended in) which is great, or an Xotic XBlender would do the trick!
  6. Yeah. Definitely something extra happening. Reminds me of a more subtle version of Tim Commerford's bass sound on Cochise by Audioslave. Some kind of Phaser/Flanger might get you in the ball park...

Your work is stunning mate. Top notch!
  8. It’s great fun! Some really cool tunes and basslines in there!
  9. I think he auditioned for a tribute band and didn’t get the gig, and then ended up IN Jamiroquai, if my memory serves me correctly! Back on topic, I play bass for ‘The Rocket Man’ a tribute to Elton John, and also ‘And Finally...Phil Collins’ which is pretty self explanatory 🙂
  10. Countdown To Ecstacy is now up! As always, any glaring errors please let me know
  11. The LS-2 is the pedal equivalent of a Swiss Army Knife. There's so many different uses and possibilities! No one should be without one. Mine will never go anywhere! Currently sat in my Mono double gig bag, used as an A/B switch with a volume knob for each channel. Worth the second hand price for that alone
  12. Finally! Congratulations to the new owner - it’s a beauty!
  13. I can’t believe this it still here! I did a fair few gigs with this bass and it is just outstanding. Whoever buys this is getting A LOT of bass for their money here.
  14. Absolutely gorgeous. If I had the cash this would be mine!
  15. Well here it is:

The video for my bands cover/mashup of Superstition and some Erykah Badu.

    Hope y'all enjoy :)

  16. Haha! Yes. It’s definitely changed a lot! I’ve never been happier than with the sound I have now though 😁
  17. My board last night for my gig with ‘And Finally...Phil Collins’ Turbo Tuner>Octamizer>Cali76>Xotic Stereo XBlender>Loop 1 Send (Knightfall)>Loop 2 Send>(Pickle Fuzz>AF9)> Thumpinator Loop 1 is always on, for a little bit of grit and bite from the COG. Loop 2 is fuzz and/or filter. Powered by a Gigrig Generator. The Stereo XBlender is powered by an Xotic 18V doubler. Airturn PedPro for switching pages on ForScore
  18. Sold to Janusz!
  19. Yes here it is.
  20. This is a bargain. I paid £100 more for one of these last year!
  21. No problem man! I’ll be uploading some more shortly. Maybe with a playalong video or two
  22. Wow! What a beautiful Jazz. If I didn't need food or a house, this would be mine! Stunning example of a vintage Fender... In fact, I'm still tempted - Just trying to work out whether it's worth being homeless and starving!
  23. Sibelius is the one. It isn’t so intuitive at first but like any great software, once you suss it out, and get a few of your own hotkeys set up, your workflow improves greatly and it’s great. The level of control over every aspect of your score and parts is amazing. A big part of reading charts for me is not just the notes and the information, but how it is presented. Not just in terms of fonts, layout/geography of the chart, but literally down to the aesthetic appearance. If a chart looks ‘pleasing’ to the eye, paired with being well written, with good clear layout and geography, you will make a lot of musicians very happy.
  24. Haha! Just showing off my fancy inlays 😅
