The Precision is my favourite bass of all time, that's why I own a Jazz Bass, a Musicman Stingray and a Rickenbacker 4003... Everytime I buy a new bass I have a 'dammit!' moment a month or so later!! Still, it means that I always have at least one more bass to buy. Mrstheelvy does not quite see it the same way...

I'd like to get a pedalboard just consisting of Big Muffs from every era... Not to play through as such, just because...

Bass Guitar Magazine have put in a good word before. They may print something further now that this has got a little more attention.

Ha, yeah, that would be interesting... Nah, I quite like the D'addarios, but they don't do a 45-105 set, and not a big fan of 45-100 or 50-105.

I used to change mine for every gig I played. That was some time ago... I used to have a lot more money to waste then! Nowadays, I'm not too prescriptive. Just change them when they no longer sound good. Set of D'Addario Steels on my Ricky still sounding good after several months!
