2. Yep, confirmation has just come in - Time for some brown sound!
3. Looks like a fun event. Bodes well for this evening in Brighton!
4. Price drop to £75
5. Not going to this one, but I'll be there for the GAK event in Brighton (traffic pending...). Who's heading to that event?
6. Relatively unknown brand, but reasonable quality bass for sale from Wesley guitars. Bass is in good condition, could do with some setup work. Electronics are all passive, so tones are limited, but reasonable. Comes as shown, inc strap but no bag. Drop to £35 Collection from Portsmouth only.
7. Hey guys, so I'm off on my hols. Haven't made a sale with this one so this is the last bump! Any monetary or trade offers you'd like to make on it, send me a PM and I'll get back to you on my return. If nothing, then it'll go up on eBay later on.
8. Yep. Going to be a bit of a wait... As long as it turns up eventually...
9.
Thanks for sharing. I'm interested to hear how people have developed their sound
Get yourself over to the effects board then! Far crazier setups there than I have!
10.
Thanks gents. I see one of you lists your interests as having more effects than guitarists! I like a little chorus & reverb, just to give the sound a bit of depth, but I haven't experimented with anything else. Which effects do you use and how often do you apply them?
Are you referring to me sir? Well, my pedalboard reached ginormous proportions (something of a competition between myself and my guitarist...) some time ago and got so ridiculous to lug around that I went back to bass into amp and started again! I would say that my essential effects would be an octave pedal (only use four-strings, so used for reaching those extra low notes, but also for a more synthy tone), an overdrive for an occasional bit of grit, and a chorus for a more mellow tone. At the moment, my main gig is with a covers band, so I have a number of pedals to try and nail the tones of other bassists, but then just a few that I have for fun!
11. Hi from Portsmouth!
12. My order is sitting with Andertons now... Estimated arrival time not until September though! :-(
